This is just a quick update that makes McWiki compatible with the latest version of minecraft.2.5.1Fixes and stuffJan 11, 2019 Hey guys, This update adds better error verbosity and gives bugfixes for custom wiki installations. +Added default values if config remains unset for whatever reason +Added better error verbosity, sent to console for debugging +If a wiki page is linked that doesnt exist, that link will now show up red -Fixed IOError on certain custom mediawiki sites -Fixed mediawikis without short_urls not being functional -Fixed tables of contents not spanning multiple pages -Fixed articles with spaces not being retrieved by API correctly Known bugs are: -If the first paragraph is bigger than the page, it wont be split -If a paragraph is bigger than 2 pages, it split on the 3rd page Im going to keep pushing through with fixes, with a couple features I have in mind being the priority after those. A reminder that github issues are extremely helpful for issue reporting and tracking, as then I dont have to save issues I find myself in a .txt file on my desktop and can actually assign things like priority, severity, etc. As always, thanks so much for sticking with me, and a personal apology for taking so long on this one.2.52.5: The Update You Can Count OnOct 18, 2018 Hey guys, been working on this one for a while. While its mostly technical changes to support different mediawiki versions, you should see some major improvements in terms of article accuracy, readability and reliability. Changelog: +Added support for all MediaWiki versions +Added <li> and <span> element parsing (no font for now) +Added explicitly shown redirect for book +Improved overall parsing efficiency and consistency +Streamlined book formatting -Fixed an issue where the last book page was not appearing in certain articles -Fixed books not filling up the whole page with content Please, if you have any bug reports or feature requests, let me know here or on github! Thanks!2.41.13 support!Jul 29, 2018 We got 1.13 support! Now you can learn about all the new stuff in the Update Aquatic!2.3Update 2.3: Header support + book revampApr 4, 2018 Update 2.3 is the biggest update yet, and provides a makeover for books. +Added header support +Added subheader support +Added table of contents +Added JumpTos for table of contents/headers +Omitted specific content +Completely revamped book formatter +Tweaked end and front page to use specified fonts ~Fixed error messages not being specific enough ~Fixed vanilla format bleeding bug ~minor config edits You should probably just delete your config this time around. In case you really dont want to, heres the new stuff for it: Code (Text): format: #b is for bold, denotes the name of the article in article itself. b: bold: true color: dark_aqua #a is for link, linking to other articles or external links. NOTE: Any hover and click values are overridden. a: prefix: '[' suffix: ']' color: aqua #i is for italic, and is only used in special cases. i: italic: true #h2 is a header that marks sections of an article. Table of contents entries will be made when encountered. h2: underlined: true color: gray bold: true #h3 is a header that marks subsections of sections. h3: color: dark_gray suffix: ':' If you liked this update, please consider funding further development through a donation!! Anything helps!!! <32.2.1Update 2.2.1: Full formatting controlMar 28, 2018 If for whatever reason you disliked the formatting of articles before, i've got great news. This update brings complete control over displaying elements like links, bold, and italic text. This also fixes a bug where the book formatter would omit the last p of an article. Note: you will either need to delete your config, or paste the following into it for the formatting to continue as default. Code (Text): format: b: bold: true color: dark_aqua a: prefix: '[' suffix: ']' color: aqua i: italic: true Next on the list is header handling, table of contents, and even better book formatting.2.2Custom domainMar 19, 2018 +Adds the ability to add a custom domain. I also rewrote a lot of the JSON handling code to prepare for custom formatting and header support, should be coming in the next patch if all goes well.2.1Book supportMar 14, 2018 Update 2.1 This update adds book support as your information display method, and a config option to use chat if preferred. Also provides minor formatting updates.2.0Massive rewrite and overhaulMar 10, 2018 This overhaul basically re-invents the plugin. Instead of simply giving the link to the specified article, the player instead sees relevant article information inline, in the chat. There is a configurable cutoff amount that can be set, as well as multi language support (simply edit the config language string, and it will pull that language's gamepedia file, if any exists). +Using maven to build now +added plugin.yml +Rewrote plugin entirely +asynchronous document reveal and display system, json based +added a readme and other formalities https://github.com/skylerdev/McWiki1.4Jan 29, 2017
