A Wizard Did It injects classic wizardry into the world of Minecraft. By crafting a Magic Wand, you can perform a variety of spells and do amazing feats! A Wizard can...

...Fly like the mystic squirrel!
...Dig vast tunnels in the blink of an eye!
...Build walls and floors instantly!
...Make elevators and secret passages!
...Do a whole bunch of other stuff, trust me!

This plugin was made for casual fun, thus it lacks a lot of features like custom settings, permissions, etc. But it's also open source, so feel free to fork it and tweak it to do what you want!

How it works…
With "A Wizard Did It," the players can become the powerful wizards who can wield great sorcery and ruin all kinds of stuff. With a Magic Wand, anything is possible!

"A Wizard Did It" works in three ways:

• Magic Chests, which are… well, just chests where certain items are put in certain patterns and then magic happens as a result.
• Magic Wands, which can enact spells when an item is held in the off-hand
• Magic Tools, which are empowered to work better than their normal counterparts

Some of these are also fueled by Wizard Power, a resource which is spent to enact magical effects.

Getting started
First, you’ll need a Magic Wand! To make a Magic Wand, get yourself a chest, and put Glowstone Dust in the 9 spaces on the left in this pattern:

Then, take a Stick - a single stick! - and swing it at the chest. You should be informed of your new status as a Wizard, and your stick should now be a glowing Magic Wand! The Glowstone Dust in the chest, however, will be consumed by the magic!

That's Just the Beginning!
Now that you have your Magic Wand, you're ready for some real magic! For instance:

• Cloud Rider, a spell that will have you gliding through the air using your Magic Wand and a simple feather (in your off-hand).
• Layer Layer, a spell which allows you to quickly make bridges, walls, and floors!
• Sorting Chest, a Magic Chest that can help sort all the items inside into nearby chests identified by item frames!
