AFKPatrol

AFKPatrol is a plugin to prevent your players from performing tasks such as mining while AFK . AFK mining can be a big issue for servers providing gamemodes like Skyblock.

Players will simply tape their mouse button down, or set up a script to click for them. This gives them an unfair advantage over other players.

Using AFKPatrol, players' movements and interactions are monitored to determine if they are AFK mining (or performing other tasks like using a mob farm while AFK to gain EXP).

If a player is thought to be AFK mining they are notified asking them to either move or type a code into the chat to confirm they are not AFK. If the player ignores this message (as they would if they were AFK), then they are "frozen" to stop their interactions. If they continue trying to perform the action they will be kicked from the server.

I do not currently intend on putting much time into the development of this plugin. It is a useful utility to fix a common problem encountered on many servers, including the one I administrate myself.

If you have any suggestions I am happy to hear them, but I want to keep the plugin fairly light weight so it might not be possible for me to help everyone. Please report bugs using the github issues tracker or using the discussion section of this plugin page.

Please do NOT use the reviews section for bug reports! A stack trace does not help anyone decide if they want to use the plugin, and the error is not even usually related to this plugin!
