I am extremely proud of this update, and it's all thanks to a few requests on my Github page for this plugin (which people are free to view and submit pull requests to and fork, I don't bite! Promise!). So enough Jabber, you want to broadcast things and you want to know, Hailey, why this plugin, why yours? Why should I update? Well, here's a list of the new features that will tell you why: · Don't like messages sometimes repeating each other too frequently? Neither did I, try changing the sort order to ascending or descending (Read The Config On How To Do So) · Did auto broadcaster warning you that it couldn't save the messages file (because it already existed) give you a heart attack? Yeah me neither, but it won't do that anymore either! · Now you can create plain old boring broadcasts with no link, no command, no hover, just text and the optional color of course · Was the config confusing? I hope not, but if it was, I added about 16 lines of helpful information so you better understand what you might be changing, and how it can help you! Now For The Part We All Dread, Warnings: ATTENTION: YOU WILL NEED TO REGEN YOUR CONFIG. You don't actually have to, you could just copy and paste a few lines in, but since the config is just 4 settings and 4 messages, I suggest just regenerating it, but if your set on not regenerating it, copy the things you're missing from the default config below. YOU DO NOT NEED TO REGEN OR DELETE YOUR MESSAGES FILE!!! Default Config: .SpoilerTarget">Spoiler: Config Code (YAML): # --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- # Broadcast-Interval: How Many Seconds Between Broadcasts # --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- # Broadcast-Type: The Type Of Sorting For The Broadcast Messages # 0 - Random Sort # 1 - Descending Sort (Top Of File To Bottom Of File) # 2 - Ascending Sort (Bottom Of File To Top Of File) # --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- # Chat-Interval: The Chat Interval is how many messages must be sent before the # plugin broadcasts again. Just added metrics to get an idea of the userbase of AutobroadcasterPlus. If you wish to opt out of Bstats collection (Which I hope you don't), just open the Bstats folder and in the config, set Enabled to false. The first update to AutoBroadcasterPlus packs a punch with new commands, and a shiny new update notifier. Do you want to stop the autobroadcaster temporarily? Well now you can, /abc kill will disable the autobroadcaster until /abc reboot is used (or the server reloads/restarts) As is the way with all of my plugins in the future, AutoBroadcasterPlus now has an update notifier to let you, the busy server staff know when there is an update out so you never miss an important one!
