AutoPotion:
AutoPotion allows players to automatically use potions in their inventory. Don't worry about your potion effects running out, this plugin takes care of everything for you!
AutoPotion could be a great addition to gamemodes involving:
- Parkour
- Speedrun
- Factions
- PVP
- Survival
Description:
This plugin features the /autopotion command, which does the following:
- Check for potions available in the player's inventory
- Compare them to the player's active potion effects
- Use potions which dont override current effects
- Reuse potions when their effect is about to wear off
AutoPotion fully supports stacked potions, as well as potions with custom effects.
Note that splash potions and potions with no effects will be ignored
Setting up AutoPotion:
By default, AutoPotion will check for these effects only:
- Speed
- Strength
- Regeneration
- Jump Boost
- Fire Resistance
You can add or remove effects in the configuration file. It is recommended that you keep the number of effects allowed to the strict minimum, otherwise AutoPotion will use more resources to check for unnecessary effects.
Permissions:
As of now, there is only one permission node (autospeed.me). In future updates, I will include more permissions and settings.
Settings (in config.yml):
- glassbottle: change to false if you dont want AutoPotion to give glass bottles to the player
- autodisable: change to false if you want AutoPotion to stay enabled even if the player has no potions left in their inventory
In the future:
Version 1.0 lays the groundwork for upcoming updates, but is already fully functional.
(Note that AutoPotion does not yet support 1.9+ additions, such as new potion effects or lingering potions. Therefore, AutoPotion might be unstable on newer versions of Minecraft)
Upcoming versions will include the following:
- More items (food, golden apples)
- More permissions and settings
- Complete customisation, with a clean UI.
- Intelligent use of Heal and Regeneration potions
- Player statistics.
