AutoSpawn is a simple plugin made to send players to spawn once they join.
Upon joining, players will briefly execute the command '/spawn', so if you don't have a plugin for '/spawn', this is pointless. Later versions could possibly have a backup system for spawn if one does not exist, though that's if anyone really needs it.
This might work on later versions of Minecraft, though they haven't been tested yet. As far as I've seen, the API for all that is used hasn't changed so theoretically it should.
