BetterParty | Lightweight Party Chat System
0.0.7Lightweight, advanced party chat plugin for 1.8 - 1.15.2!
A better solution to party chat on Minecraft.
Current Version: 0.0.3
Supported Server Versions: 1.8 - 1.15.2
BetterParty is an advanced party chat system made for Spigot/Paper servers (if you would like to have BungeeCord support please do so by PMing me or reviewing this plugin). The plugin allows you to easily enable private party chats on your server with no configuration necessary! BetterParty allows you to create, edit, moderate, review, and delete parties with extremely simple commands. Server crashes? No worries! BetterParty has an advanced Party storage and restructuring system. If your server is stopped or restarted for some reason your party will still exist as long as a member is online within a certain amount of time from when your server starts. If nobody is online in the party it will automatically collect and clean it from memory!
BetterParty is EXTREMELY lightweight. No external libraries are required to run it! You can just simply drop it in your plugins folder and you are all set to go. There is only 1 configuration option which is optional. This is when it should check for dormant parties (empty parties) that were loaded after a server restart or stop/start. The dormantCheckInterval is in seconds and by default it will allow any players to join back to the party they were in when the server stopped within 2 minutes .

Getting Started:
BetterParty is very easy to get started with. Once you drop it in your Plugins folder and reload your server you should have access to the /bp and /bparty commands. Both of these do the same thing, /bp is just shorter and easier to use!
Creating a Party:
To create a party run "/bparty create <Party Name>" , and you will now be the owner of a party! This party will only be joinable by inviting players. To invite somebody you can run "/bparty invite <Player>" . This will send the player a message letting them know they were invited and allow them to join if they decide to. Only Admins and Owners can Invite or Kick members. Admins cannot kick Admins but they can Kick Members. Owners can kick anybody.
If you are an owner or admin you can run "/bp ? mod" to see the Moderation Commands. These commands allow you to change various things in your party. Some commands are restricted to the owner and as an admin you will not be able to run them.
Chatting in your Party:
By default the prefix for party chat is ">>" . By adding this to the beginning of your message it will send whatever you input to only other party members. If you are alone in a party nobody will see your message. Admins and Owners can run "/bp setprefix <New Prefix>" to change the party prefix.
Joining a Party:
If an admin or owner has invited you to a party you can join by running /bp join <Party Name> . If you forgot the party name you can run /bp myinvites to see which parties have invited you and you can join.
