Big TNTs

Description

A simple plugin which gives players the ability to craft TNTs that explode with a larger impact than regular TNTs. You craft them by combining multiple smaller TNTs in a crafting menu.

Note that by default a Spigot server has a TNT explosion radius limit of 100, which is about a 25x TNT. There is a reason for this limit so beware when changing it and using this plugin.

Customization

The plugin offers customization through a config yml. Things that can be customized:

• How many smaller TNTs are required to craft a respectively multiplied bigger TNT.
• The crafting limit, a limit at which you can no longer make the TNT bigger.
• A fuse time modifier making bigger TNTs take longer (or shorter) to explode after being ignited.

Finally the config provides an option to cancel all explosions for safety reasons. When your server is unable to process an explosion you can enable this, then restart your server. This will cancel the explosion. You should then disable it again along with changing settings to prevent this from happening again. Removing the plugin should also fix the world freeze.

How it works

By default, the generated config is set to require 4 TNTs to craft a bigger TNT. Adding 4 TNTs in your crafting inventory will result in a single 4x TNT.
Different examples are shown below (inventory on the left, config.yml on the right):
2x (4x) (8x) (16x) (32x) (64x) (128x) (256x, limited by default)

3x (9x) (27x) (81x) (243x, limited by default)

4x (16x) (64x) (256x, limited by default)

You can set this up to 9. Anything above 4 will make a workbench a requirement.

Known bugs:

- Shift-click in crafting is currently not supported.
- Minecart TNT is currently not supported so will probably not work.
- Dispensers are not yet supported so might not work.
- A big TNT might explode as a normal TNT, if this happens you can place a regular TNT at the same location and ignite it again to still get the big explosion.
