BiomeAnnouncer

BiomeAnnouncer

Know where you are. A clean typewriter title every time you step into a new biome, and it knows the real biome, even on custom world generators.

New biomes only

Players choose how they want it:

• every: every biome they walk into
• new: only biomes they have never been in, as a "New biome discovered!" title
• none: peace and quiet

/ba discovered lists everything they have found.

Style every biome

Rename any biome, colour a whole mod at once (terralith:*), give a biome its own sound or its own lines, hide rivers, or group all oceans so they count as one. Names follow each player's game language by default.

Quiet where it matters

No announcements inside the WorldGuard regions you pick: /ba region add spawn. One world or all of them.

Built for admins

• /ba debug: the biome key where you stand (click to copy) and what every source sees
• /ba dump: every biome on your server in one file, ready to paste into biomes.yml
• /ba reload: tells you how many problems it found and exactly where
• Every setting, name and message is configurable, and every line of the files is explained
• Updates add new settings to your files without touching yours
• Upgrading from 1.3 is automatic, with a backup

Commands

Placeholders are available for scoreboards and menus: biome name, key, the player's mode (every / new / none, or its display name), discovered count and more.
