Block Infection

BlockSpread

Ever wanted normal blocks to behave like the Sculk Catalyst? BlockSpread turns every solid block you place into an organic, spreading infection! Place a Diamond Block, Gold Block, or even Obsidian, and watch it consume the surrounding stone, dirt, and deepslate.

Perfect for minigames, custom SMP challenges, or just having fun reshaping your world!

✨ Features

• Organic Spreading Algorithm: Blocks spread naturally with randomized directional chances, creating a cool "vein" or "virus" look rather than a perfect square.
• Atmospheric: Features subtle Sculk charge sound effects as the blocks spread to make the infection feel alive.
• Fully Customizable: Adjust the spread speed and total lifespan of the infection directly in-game using commands.
• Insanely Optimized: Built strictly with server performance in mind.
  • Disables chunk physics updates during the spread.
  • Safely ignores complex blocks (TileStates like Chests, Furnaces, Hoppers) so it won't break your existing bases.
  • Hard-capped generation limits per tick to guarantee your TPS stays at 20.
