Missing depot pruning — a depot that's gone no longer stays knotted on the khipu forever. A storage run that reaches a recorded depot and finds no container there now keeps count, and clears the dead entry for you: - A depot found missing (broken, moved, or swapped for another block) gets a strike; two runs in a row and it's untied from your khipu and homes.yml is saved. - A depot found standing clears its strikes; one in an unloaded chunk, or one the courier never reached because its packs were already empty, never counts. - One yellow action-bar line when the run ends, folded into the return line: Caravan back — depot 120, 64, -30 not found., then Caravan back — missing depot 120, 64, -30 untied from khipu. Never chat. - Item-safe: pruning only edits the depot list, and whatever didn't fit still rides home with the courier, exactly as before. - New storage-run config keys: prune-missing-depots (default true; false is 0.0.18's exact behaviour) and prune-after-misses (default 2). - Strikes live in memory and reset on restart, so a restart can only delay a prune, never cause one; re-recording or forgetting a depot clears its strikes. - Verified by the unit suite (81 tests) and a clean build. The new code uses only long-standing Bukkit API (World#isChunkLoaded, org.bukkit.block.Container), so server compatibility is unchanged from 0.0.18: Paper and Purpur, 1.20 through 26.2. - Purpur: keep mobs.llama.ridable at its default false — a WASD-ridable llama lets a rider steer against the caravan driver.

26.2 compatibility refresh — no code changes. 0.0.17 verified this jar against Paper 26.2 b62 the week 26.2 landed; the line has moved some sixty builds since, so this release re-checks the same jar against the current head of it: - Full API-surface link-check against Paper 26.2 b121 — all 308 method/field and 77 class references resolve, including through Adventure 5.2.0, the version that build's own API pins. The reflection-resolved names (CAMEL, POOF, HAPPY_VILLAGER, SLOWNESS) all still exist. - Clean live enable on Paper 26.2 b121 and Purpur 26.2 b2627 (Java 25) — load, enable, disable, no plugin warnings. api-version: '1.20' remains valid. - 26.3 watch note: 26.3 is snapshot-only so far, and nothing in the snapshots touches the movement engine — no mob-AI, pathfinding, or entity-physics changes. The new #no_wolf_retaliation damage-type tag holds only minecraft:sulfur_cube_hot, so wolf protectors behave exactly as they do today. Re-verified against the released build when it ships. - Purpur: keep mobs.llama.ridable at its default false — a WASD-ridable llama lets a rider steer against the caravan driver. Identical code to 0.0.16 and 0.0.17 — already running one of those? Nothing to rush.

26.2 compatibility release — no code changes. This build marks Caravans verified on the released 26.2 line, on both supported servers: - Full API-surface link-check against Paper 26.2 b62 — including its Adventure 5 bump, the one real plugin-breaker of the 26.2 cycle (Caravans calls none of the removed API). - Clean live enable on Paper 26.2 b62 and Purpur 26.2 b2609 (Java 25). api-version: '1.20' remains valid through 26.2. - Nothing in 26.2 touches the caravan surface: no llama/camel/donkey/mule/wolf/leash or horse-inventory changes. Piglins spawning on Peaceful just give guardians and wolf protectors valid Nether targets; sulfur-cave geysers shove a passing caravan no harder than any mob shove. - Purpur: keep mobs.llama.ridable at its default false — a WASD-ridable llama lets a rider steer against the caravan driver. Identical code to 0.0.16 — already running that on 1.20–26.1? Nothing to rush.

Performance pass. No new features, no behavior changes you can feel — the hot paths just got leaner. Re-verified against current servers: one jar spans 1.20 → 26.x (API surface checked against Paper 26.1.2 stable with 26.2 tracked; 26.x servers run Java 25, and the plugin's Java 21 build runs there unchanged). - Walkability probes fetch each block once — the movement core's innermost loop re-fetched the same blocks up to 3×. - Straight-line cruise stopped re-validating its heading twice a tick (the "never smooth into a wall" guard still runs on every turning tick). - Parked animals go network-silent — one zeroing send, then nothing until something actually shifts them. No more per-tick velocity packet per idle animal while you sort chests. - Guardians scan smarter — Paper's filtered entity query, and after ~2s with nothing in range they relax to a staggered 1-second cadence, snapping back on first contact. Targeting and the water-float valve are untouched. - The auto-store fullness poll stopped cloning cargo and no longer decodes the saddlebag stash — counts live beside the data now (old stashes migrate on first read). - The storage-run boss bar only sends what changed — it was renaming itself every tick. - Fixed: /caravandrive (op-only) called a 1.21-only look API directly and broke on 1.20.x servers; it now degrades gracefully like the rest of the movement core. --- 26.2 verification (2026-07-17): this exact jar re-verified against the released 26.2 — full API-surface link-check against Paper 26.2 b62 (including its Adventure 5 bump) and a clean live enable on both Paper 26.2 b62 and Purpur 26.2 b2609 on Java 25. No changes needed. On Purpur, keep mobs.llama.ridable at its default false so a rider can't steer against the caravan driver.

Everything since 0.0.7 — eight releases in one update.

    New

    - Saddlebags (0.0.8). Each pack llama carries up to six 15-slot pages (90 slots, configurable). The active page is the llama's real native inventory; the rest travel on the animal. Khipu-tap reads the load, sneak-tap flips pages. Storage runs deposit every page. - Strength progression (0.0.9). A llama keeps its natural strength roll and earns its way to strength 5 (+3 slots per level) from its owner's play time — computed lazily on interaction, no background task. Saddlebag pages unlock at strength 5. - Auto storage-runs (0.0.10). A following caravan past 80% full dispatches its own run, with a cooldown and a longer back-off when depots come back full. - Lead camel (0.0.11). Appoint a camel and the caravan follows it instead of you — ride it for a mobile train, park it as a base camp. The camel stays vanilla. - Wolf protectors (0.0.12). An appointed tamed wolf proactively targets hostiles within 16 blocks of it, guarding the caravan. - Donkeys & mules (0.0.13). Both join the follow line as fully vanilla haulers (native 15-slot chest, no pages, no leveling). Storage runs stay llama-only. - Camel quartermaster (0.0.14). A lead camel earns tiers from your play time; each tier returns storage runs 8% faster, up to 40%.

    Hardened (0.0.15)

    - Storage runs survive restarts. A courier that is away when the server stops is persisted whole (inventory, pages, name, leveling clock, decor) and resumes on the next start. Its identity is preserved across every run. - A dying llama spills its stashed pages instead of losing them; a corrupt stash can no longer cascade into item loss; dispatch pools decor-safely and never discards overflow. - Roles survive restarts — guardian carpets, protector wolves, and lead camels re-seat when their chunks load. - Relog, portal, and off-hand edge cases fixed: followers no longer freeze on your logout spot, cross-dimension runs no longer wedge, an off-hand Khipu is no longer consumed as a lead. - 1.20–1.20.4 servers enable again (a 1.20.5+ API call is now guarded), and kelp/seagrass/waterlogged blocks read as water to the swim controller.

    Compatibility

Paper/Purpur 1.20.x through 26.x on one jar (renamed constants resolved at runtime; camel support capability-gated). Java 21+. Spigot is not supported.
