ChatHeads Plugin Changelog Version 1.2 - 02/15/2024 We're excited to announce the latest update to ChatHeads, the Minecraft plugin that enhances in-game communication by displaying chat messages above players' heads. Here's what's new in this version: New Features: · Message Line Wrap: Messages that exceed a certain length are now automatically wrapped onto the next line, ensuring readability and a clean visual experience. · Configurable Line Length: Server admins can now set the maximum character length for a single line via the config.yml file. Messages longer than this limit will be split accordingly. · Message Stacking Update: To accommodate line wrapping, the stacking logic has been updated. Regardless of message length, only five lines will be displayed at a time, with the oldest lines fading out first. Enhancements: · Performance Optimization: Improved the efficiency of how messages follow players, reducing server load and ensuring smooth gameplay. · Visual Clarity: Adjusted the default Y-offset between stacked messages for better visual separation and clarity. Bug Fixes: · Stacking Order: Fixed an issue where messages were not stacking correctly, with new messages sometimes appearing below older ones. · Following Mechanics: Resolved a problem where messages would not always correctly follow the player when moving.
