Note: this is my first plugin, but I have previous experience in Java and other languages.
Description
CommandBlockAllow is a plugin that allows non-op users to place, break, and edit command blocks.
Installation
To install this plugin, simply put the .jar file in the plugins directory of your server. After, add yourself and any other operators to the operator list of the plugin by using /addcommandblock <player>. That's it!
Permissions
commandblockallow.usecommandblocks:
- Allows the user to place command blocks.
commandblockallow.breakcommandblocks:
- Allows the user to break command blocks.
commandblockallow.editcommandblocks:
- Allows the user to edit command blocks.
commandblockallow.commands.<command>:
- Allows the user to use the command in the spot of <command>.
- Example: commandblockallow.commands.listcmdexceptions allows users to use /listcmdexceptions and its aliases.
Commands
/togglecommandblock:
- Aliases: /togglecb, /tcmdb
- This command enables/disables the plugin's features.
/addcmdexception <player>:
- Aliases: /addcmdex
- This command adds an operator to the operators list. Without this, their OP will be stripped upon moving in-game due to how the plugin works.
/removecmdexception <player>:
- Aliases: /removecmdex
- This command removes an operator from the operators list.
/listcmdexceptions:
- Aliases: /listcmdex, /lcmde
- This command lists all operators on the operators list.
Other Information
1. The code that allows users to edit command blocks uses setOp() to temporarily give the player operator level privileges. This requires them to be in one spot, as when the player moves, the operator privileges are taken away. This also means that the player will have OP privileges until they move, after opening a command block. In order for your dedicated operators/admins/etc. to retain their status, use the /addcmdexception to add them to a list. Players on that list will not have their OP privileges stripped upon moving.
