With the introduction of hex colors, a new default tracking message has been added. Don't worry - the old layout is currently saved in the config, so you can revert to it anytime or design a layout that fits your server's style. Changes & Fixes · Removed permissions soft dependencies. But for permissions to work you still need a permissions plugin of your choosing. This just means that you are not required to use a permissions plugin listed for CompassHunt. · Removed alias for /compasshunt. Alias was removed which also fixes an issue where /help compasshunt displayed and empty command entry when using Essentials plugin. · Fixed message duplication. Resolved an issue where the tracking message was displayed multiple times in chat when clicking the compass in Minecraft 1.21.11.

CompassHunt v1.9.2 is a small update focused on improving plugin compatibility, flexibility with permissions plugins, and resolving minor issues. CompassHunt plugin was last updated in 2023. While it remained functional (mostly) with Minecraft 1.20 and 1.21, players have reported some bugs such as compass teleportation issues and missing player names. In this update, we've revamped the plugin slightly to improve compatibility. ​ Changelog · Updated Version Support. Since this update plugins main version will be 1.20 with added comatibility for 1.21 trough 1.21.6, and successfully tested on 1.21.7. · Command Changes. The /compass alias for the hunt command has been removed due to a conflict with Essentials plugin. A new alias is /track so for hunting you can use either /track or /hunt command. · LuckPerms now required. Using LuckPerms is no longer optional - it is now a required dependency. So, without it the plugin will not start. · Config removed. The configuration option for customizing the tracking message and prefix has been removed (for now). But overall messages should be now fixed in different versions of Minecraft.

· Tested Minecraft 1.20.3 and 1.20.4 versions. · Added bStats.

· The plugin supports Minecraft version 1.20 and above. · The general information in the game has been improved. Excessive notifications have been removed. · If the player does not have permission to use the compass, the game will show that such a command does not exist. This means that the player must have compasshunt.player permission added to see the command or use the compass. · Using the /compass or /hunt command, the player only gets a compass. This means that in the case of an empty compass, there will no longer be a message about how to use the command. Information related to use is placed in the /help menu.

Fixed minor bugs.

· Added support for Minecraft version 1.19.4 (spigot). · The server console shows if the plugin is enabled or disabled. · The Enabled and Disabled message also displays the plugin version.

With this update, permission was added to the plugin. This gives an opportunity to limit the rights of who can use it, and since version 1.2.0, permission must be added to the player or rank to use the compass. Without permission, the command will not be visible to players.
