    CoreTuff v1.1

CoreTuff v1.1 is here. This release focuses on extending CoreTuff's compatibility with the latest Minecraft server environment and connecting the release to the CoreTuff Web Panel statistics system. ---

    Minecraft 26.3 Compatibility

CoreTuff v1.1 extends compatibility for Minecraft 26.3. The release includes the necessary compatibility updates to keep CoreTuff working with the newer server environment. Because Minecraft decided that compatibility couldn't simply stay where we left it. ---

    Web Panel Statistics

CoreTuff v1.1 is now connected to the CoreTuff Web Panel statistics system. CoreTuff installations running this version can now report anonymous server statistics to the public statistics panel. The Web Panel can use this data to display information such as: • Active CoreTuff servers • Current player counts • Total installations • Record player counts • Historical server statistics • Historical player statistics • Server software • Minecraft version • Java version • CoreTuff version • Server environment information This also allows CoreTuff v1.1 installations to contribute to the public CoreTuff statistics displayed at: https://ct.voxelware.org ---

    Statistics & Privacy

Statistics collected by the Web Panel are aggregated for public display. The statistics system is intended to provide an overview of CoreTuff usage without exposing player-identifying information. Your server can now quietly contribute to the CoreTuff ecosystem while the Dashboard does all the counting. ---

    Compatibility

CoreTuff v1.1 is intended for: • Minecraft 26.3 • Paper • Folia Existing CoreTuff functionality remains available alongside the compatibility updates. ---

    Notes

CoreTuff v1.1 is a compatibility and statistics-focused release. If you encounter an issue while running CoreTuff on Minecraft 26.3, please report it through the GitHub Issue Tracker. CoreTuff v2.0 — Nightly-3

After approximately one month of development, debugging, college, practicals, exams, real-life side quests, and several encounters with the "I'll finish this tomorrow" boss fight, CoreTuff v2.0 Nightly-3 is finally here. Yes. We know. It has been a month since Nightly-2. No, we did not disappear. College simply decided that CoreTuff needed another development break. Practicals. Exams. Assignments. And the usual academic chaos. We apologize for the delay, and thank you for sticking around while development continued behind the scenes. Nightly-3 continues the v2.0 development cycle with a major focus on player management, moderation, public statistics, Web Panel improvements, and several quality-of-life features. ---

    Time Shorthand Commands

CoreTuff now includes five new time commands. • /day • /noon • /sunset • /night • /midnight These commands allow administrators to change the world time without opening a configuration menu. Players automatically target their current world. Worlds can also be specified manually. Console users must specify a world. The commands are also designed to work with Folia. Because sometimes you just want the sun to come out without negotiating with the weather department. ---

    Player Tracking

CoreTuff can now keep track of your server's players. The new Player Tracking system stores information including: • UUID • Player name • First seen • Last seen • Playtime • Current world • Gamemode • Ping • Online status Player information is stored in the CoreTuff database and can be queried by the Web Panel. The system also keeps track of playtime during player sessions and saves it when the player leaves or when CoreTuff shuts down. Your server now remembers who has been playing. Unlike that one player who somehow still claims they have never been online. ---

    Players Dashboard

The CoreTuff Web Panel now includes a dedicated Players section. Administrators can now: • View online players • Search players • Open player profiles • View playtime • View current world • View gamemode • View ping • View punishment information • Open a player's moderation history Player changes are also synchronized with the Web Panel so the player list can update without constantly rebuilding the entire thing. ---

    Moderation Dashboard

Moderation now has its own dedicated section in the CoreTuff Web Panel. The new Moderation Dashboard provides: • Punishment statistics • Active punishments • Temporary bans • IP bans • Pardoned punishments • Expired punishments • Punishment history • Player punishment history • Moderator statistics • Search • Sorting • Filtering • Pagination Administrators can inspect individual punishments and view the moderation history of specific players. The panel also receives updates when moderation actions occur. No more manually refreshing the page every time someone gets banned. ---

    Moderation Synchronization

Moderation actions are now synchronized with the Web Panel. The following actions can update the panel automatically: • /ban • /tempban • /ban-ip • /pardon The Web Panel can receive these changes through the CoreTuff WebSocket connection. The server does the work. The panel notices. Everyone is happy. ---

    WebSocket Request System

The communication system between CoreTuff and the Web Panel has been expanded. The panel can now send requests to CoreTuff and receive responses using request IDs. Requests include timeout handling and cleanup when connections are closed. The system now supports communication for: • Player queries • Moderation queries • Player updates • Moderation updates • Player snapshots The Web Panel can now actually ask the server questions instead of just staring at it. ---

    Public Statistics

The CoreTuff Web Panel website has received a major upgrade. https://ct.voxelware.org The previous landing experience has been replaced with a public CoreTuff statistics page. The page provides anonymous aggregated statistics including: • Servers using CoreTuff • Players using CoreTuff • Historical server statistics • Historical player statistics • Server software • Minecraft versions • Java versions • CoreTuff versions • Module usage • Integration usage • Server environments • Record statistics No player-identifying information is used for these public statistics. The CoreTuff website can now actually tell you something useful instead of politely existing. ---

    Statistics History

CoreTuff now records historical statistics for the public statistics system. The statistics system can track server and player activity over time and generate historical data for the Web Panel. Records can also be maintained for statistics such as concurrent player counts. Because apparently knowing the current number of players wasn't enough. Now we can remember the number too. ---

    Web Panel

The CoreTuff Web Panel continues to evolve beyond configuration management. The panel now includes: • Overview • Players • Moderation • Configuration • Server health • Performance information • Incident monitoring • Plugin information • CoreTuff health information • Public statistics Nightly-3 also introduces new player and moderation interfaces alongside the existing Dashboard functionality. The Dashboard is slowly becoming less of an editor and more of an actual control center. ---

    Incident Management Improvements

The CoreTuff Incident System has received several important improvements. Incidents with the same type and title are now detected instead of automatically creating another duplicate incident. When an existing incident happens again, CoreTuff can update the existing incident instead. If the new event has a higher severity, the incident can also escalate. This means the Dashboard no longer needs to display: "Something broke." "Something broke again." "Something broke again again." It can now understand that it is, in fact, the same problem. ---

    Incident Notifications

Administrators can now receive important incident notifications directly in-game. New permission: coretuff.admin.notifyincident Players with this permission can receive notifications when important health incidents are created. Routine Dashboard activity no longer creates unnecessary informational incidents. Dashboard startup. Editor session activation. Editor disconnection. Those events no longer need their own incident report. The incident system can finally focus on things that actually matter. ---

    Server Metrics

The Dashboard's server information has also been improved. Server metrics now display the actual server software being used, such as: • Paper • Folia The Dashboard also displays the server's all-time record concurrent player count alongside the current player count. Current players: "12" Record players: "47" A completely reasonable way of reminding you that the server was once more popular than it is right now. ---

    Configuration

CoreTuff's database configuration system can now write configuration values through the central configuration provider. This allows configuration changes made by CoreTuff's systems to be properly persisted instead of simply existing in memory. The configuration system now has a proper path for writing settings back into the database. Because a configuration system that can only read things is basically just a very complicated book. ---

    Editor Server Identity

The Web Editor server ID now persists across server restarts. Previously, a new server ID could be generated every time CoreTuff started. This meant the Web Panel could treat the same server as a completely new installation. The server ID is now stored in the CoreTuff configuration database and reused across restarts. Restarting the server no longer gives it an entirely new identity. ---

    Public Statistics Storage

The statistics backend has also been upgraded. Development e

    CoreTuff v2.0 — Nightly-2

After approximately one month of development, debugging, college, real-life side quests, and several encounters with the "I'll finish this tomorrow" boss fight, CoreTuff v2.0 Nightly-2 is finally here. Yes, we know. Nightly-1 was released a month ago. No, we did not forget about CoreTuff. College simply decided that CoreTuff needed a little more development time. We apologize for the delay, and thank you for sticking around while development continued behind the scenes. Nightly-2 is a major step forward for the v2.0 development cycle, focusing heavily on server monitoring, performance awareness, incident tracking, and a much more capable CoreTuff Dashboard. ---

    Server Health Monitoring

CoreTuff now continuously monitors the health of your server. The Dashboard can now display: • TPS (1m / 5m / 15m) • MSPT • CPU usage • Memory usage • Player count • JVM information • Operating system information • World count • Folia status • Plugin health • CoreTuff subsystem health • Integration status • Recent exceptions Your server can now basically tell you that something is wrong before you have to stare at the console for 20 minutes wondering what happened. ---

    Performance Monitoring

CoreTuff now actively watches server performance instead of simply displaying numbers. Performance monitoring currently tracks: • TPS • MSPT • Memory usage • CPU usage Performance conditions must persist for a period of time before an alert is created. This prevents temporary fluctuations from turning your Dashboard into a panic room. Performance states include: • Healthy • Warning • Critical When a performance issue is detected, CoreTuff can automatically create an incident. When the server recovers, the incident is automatically resolved. ---

    Performance Alerts

The Performance section has been upgraded with automatic alert states. Metrics can now indicate: • Healthy • Warning • Critical The Dashboard receives the server's actual performance state instead of trying to guess it from frontend data. This means the Web Panel now knows whether a metric is actually problematic rather than simply looking at a number and hoping for the best. ---

    Incident Management

Introducing the CoreTuff Incident System. CoreTuff can now automatically detect, track, and resolve important server events. Incidents can be created for: • Performance problems • Database issues • Configuration events • Dashboard events • Dashboard session events • Module problems • Integration issues • Exceptions • Server events • CoreTuff events Each incident maintains its own timeline, severity, status, description, and relevant information. Incidents can be: • Detected • Active • Recovered So instead of: "Something broke." you can now have: "Something broke at 19:42, remained broken for 31 seconds, and recovered at 19:43." Progress. ---

    Incident Timeline

The CoreTuff Dashboard now includes a complete incident timeline. Recent events can be viewed directly from the Overview page, while the full timeline provides a more detailed history. The timeline supports filtering by: • Severity • Status • Subsystem Incidents are displayed chronologically so administrators can understand what happened and when it happened. Because "it was lagging earlier" is not exactly a useful incident report. ---

    Recent Incidents

The Dashboard Overview now includes a Recent Incidents section. It provides a quick look at the latest server events without requiring administrators to open the full timeline. Active incidents are highlighted, while recovered incidents remain available for reference. ---

    Dashboard

The CoreTuff Dashboard is now the central interface for both server monitoring and configuration management. The Dashboard provides access to: • Server health • Performance statistics • Live configuration management • Plugin information • Integration information • CoreTuff subsystem status • Incident monitoring • Server events • Diagnostics The previous /ct editor command has been removed. It has been replaced by: /ct dash Permission: coretuff.admin (or OP) Running /ct dash creates a secure Dashboard session and generates a clickable link to the CoreTuff Web Panel. One command. One Dashboard. Much less typing. ---

    Dashboard Sessions

Dashboard sessions can now be monitored by CoreTuff. The system can track: • Session activation • Connection state • Disconnection • Session expiration • Session closure When a Dashboard session expires, CoreTuff records the event and reports it through the Dashboard. The server console also receives a notification when a Dashboard session expires. No more wondering whether the Dashboard disappeared or just decided to take a vacation. ---

    Dashboard States

The Dashboard health system now understands additional runtime states. CoreTuff can distinguish between: • Running • Starting • Stopped • Error • Disabled This provides more accurate health information in the Web Panel. A browser session disconnecting does not mean the Dashboard module itself has stopped. Because apparently those are two different things. ---

    CoreTuff Health

CoreTuff now reports the health of its major subsystems individually. The Dashboard can display the status of: • Database • Configuration • Dashboard • Modules • Exceptions Each subsystem has its own health state. This makes it easier to identify exactly which part of CoreTuff is having problems instead of simply being greeted with a mysterious "Warning" badge. ---

    Plugin Health

The Dashboard now provides information about installed server plugins and their health. Plugin status can include: • Enabled • Disabled • Dependency problems This gives administrators a quick overview of the server's plugin environment. ---

    Integration Detection

CoreTuff's integration system has been improved. Integrations are now based on actual CoreTuff integration registration rather than simply treating every installed plugin as an integration. A plugin only appears as a CoreTuff integration when CoreTuff actually detects and uses the relevant API. Much less: "Plugin installed = integration." Much more: "CoreTuff actually knows what this thing is." ---

    Web Panel

The CoreTuff Web Panel has been upgraded to: v1.0-Alpha-2 The panel now includes the new health monitoring and incident management functionality introduced in Nightly-2. The Dashboard now goes beyond configuration and provides a centralized view of your server's health and activity. ---

    Incident Improvements

The incident system now supports different severity levels: • Info • Warning • Critical Informational events can now be recorded without making the entire server look like it is on fire. Incident history is also retained with automatic cleanup of older resolved incidents. ---

    Commands

    /ct dash
Permission: coretuff.admin (or OP) Creates a secure CoreTuff Dashboard session and provides a clickable link to the Web Panel. The Dashboard replaces the previous /ct editor command. The Dashboard provides: • Configuration management • Server monitoring • Performance information • Incident monitoring • Plugin information • Integration status • CoreTuff health information ---
    /ct dump
Permission: coretuff.admin.dump Generates a comprehensive diagnostic report containing: • System information • Server information • Runtime statistics • Database information • Loaded integrations • Configuration summary • Permission information • Exception history Designed to simplify troubleshooting and bug reporting. ---
    /ct dumpdata
Permission: coretuff.dump Exports CoreTuff database tables into a readable dump file for debugging and support purposes. ---
    /ct dashboard
Permission: coretuff.admin (or OP) Manages the embedded CoreTuff Dashboard. Available actions include: • Generate pairing codes • View

  6. 1.0-RC-1CoreTuff 1.0-RC-1Jun 13, 2026

CoreTuff v1.0-RC1 — Release Candidate Notes

CoreTuff has officially entered the Release Candidate phase. No new features have been added in this build. RC1 focuses entirely on stability, correctness, and reliability as we prepare for the 1.0 release. Unless critical issues are discovered, this build is expected to become the foundation of CoreTuff 1.0. Planned Release Date: 16 June 2026 If no critical bugs are reported during the RC testing period, CoreTuff 1.0 is expected to be released on 16 June 2026.

    Fixed

    Interest Scheduler Thread Safety
Fixed: Interest payouts were executed asynchronously on non-Folia servers. applyInterest() interacts with Bukkit APIs such as online player iteration and player messaging, which must run on the main server thread. The scheduler has been moved to a synchronous task to ensure thread safety and prevent potential concurrency issues.
    Folia Countdown Titles
Fixed: Countdown title tasks would never execute on Folia. The scheduler was using an incorrect overload, causing countdown tasks to be silently ignored. The countdown system now properly executes and reschedules itself on Folia servers.
    Economy OfflinePlayer Handling
Fixed: Unsafe OfflinePlayer → Player casting in the economy service. Replaced direct casting with a null-safe player lookup to prevent potential ClassCastExceptions when handling offline players.
    Database Resource Leaks
Fixed: JDBC resources were not being properly released in several repository implementations. Applied try-with-resources across the database layer, ensuring all PreparedStatement and ResultSet instances are correctly closed after use. Affected repositories: * EconomyRepository * HomeRepository * WarpRepository * TransactionRepository This improves long-term database stability and prevents cursor/resource leaks during extended server uptime.

    Notes

CoreTuff has officially escaped the Nightly phase and entered the Insider phase. This means we've stopped throwing random features into the codebase at 3 AM and pretending it's a development strategy. During the Insider phase, no new features will be added. Instead, we'll spend our time hunting bugs, fixing bugs, and discovering entirely new bugs created while fixing the previous bugs. Welcome to stabilization. Pray for the testers.

    Overview:

    * first public preview insider build of CoreTuff. * bStats Integration. * bug fixes

    bStats

    * We integrated [bStats](https://bstats.org/plugin/bukkit/CoreTuff/31659) to CoreTuff. Now on public can see plugin usage stats.

    Changes

    Bug Fixes

    * [CT-01](https://github.com/Voxelware-studios/CoreTuff/issues/1) - Economy plugins unable to hook with CoreTuff via Vault

    Notes

CoreTuff has officially entered the Insider* phase. * We have stopped adding shiny new features and started fixing the consequences of adding shiny new features. * Expect stability improvements, bug fixes, performance optimizations, and the occasional bug that somehow survived six Nightly builds. * If something breaks, please report it. If nothing breaks, we're just as surprised as you are. Back up your database anyway. We trust our code, but not that* much.

  10. 1.0-Nightly-5CoreTuff-1.0-Nightly-5May 23, 2026

    CoreTuff v1.0 Nightly-5 - Development Build Changelog

    Overview:

    * Fifth public development build of CoreTuff. * Added workbench UI menu commands. * Added a full security layer for command hiding and plugin concealment. * Added addon loading support. * Added configurable sounds for utility, teleportation, and moderation flows. * Added version number for config files. * Split the old single core config into multiple config files. * Changes in rtp.

    Additions:

    - Workbenches UI menu command: - /crafting permission: coretuff.utility.craftingtable - /anvil permission: coretuff.utility.anvil - /stonecutter permission: coretuff.utility.stonecutter - /smithing permission: coretuff.utility.smithingtable - /loom permission: coretuff.utility.loom - /cartography permission: coretuff.utility.cartographytable - /enchanting permission: coretuff.utility.enchantingtable - /grindstone permission: coretuff.utility.grindstone - Utility (Misc) - /hat premission: coretuff.utility.hat - Plugin hide security (Beta): - By enabling this feature you can disable usage of /pl, /plugin and /? by players by toggling this feature and also tab completion. - You can toggle this feature on by running /ct pluginHide true and /ct pluginHide false to toggle off (user needs coretuff.plhide to use this command) or can change value in securityconfig.yml - You must need ProtocolLib to disable tab completion fully. - Players with coretuff.pl can use /pl, /plugin and /? command. - Addon Support: - Added addons framework into core plugin. By default Addons folder will generate in CoreTuff folder. - UX: - Added sounds for certain feature which can be configured in their respective config folders. - Added /ct bug command and only op can access it. - Configuration files: - spited config.yml into following: - teleportconfig.yml - securityconfig.yml - utilityconfig.yml - modconfig.yml - Each config comes with its own version number. It helps us to update config files easily if there is any addition or deletion. It works by checking the version number from config file against the number in code, If when change detected renames the file in folder as old and adds new config.

    Changes:

    - RTP: - Now RTP check for generated chunks and during teleport countdown plugin tries to load that and nearby chunk in ram to avoid sudden spike in load. This feature can be toggled in teleportconfig.yml and by default this feature is on ` rtpGeneratedChunksOnly: true`

    Bugs:

    - Players were able to use teleport command without permission (Fixed)

    Notes:

    * This is a nightly development build, It might be unstable. * It's highly recommend to delete already existing config files. * Plugin hide security feature is in beta which means it has a lot of bugs. * We highly recommend you to go through new config files.
