Custom Join And Leave Message
0.3.7Add custom join and leave message using either a config and an in game config editor!
Very simple custom join and leave message plugin. You can use colour codes in the config. Once you have edited the config file and added your own custom messages, go in game and type /msgreload and the config will reload and update with the new messages!
cjm.*:
description: Gives players every permission from the custom join message plugin.
cjm.reload:
description: Gives permission to reload the configuration file.
cjm.firstmsg:
description: Gives permission to display the first join message.
cjm.b4msg:
description: Gives permission to display the joined before message.
cjm.setservermotd:
description: Gives permission to set the joined before message.
cjm.setfirstmsg:
description: Gives permission to set the first join message.
cjm.setchatenabled:
description: Gives permission to set chat messages to enabled or disabled.
cjm.onscreenmsg:
description: Gives permission to set on screen join message to enabled or disabled.
You can now add new on screen messages using the config.yml file.
You can now edit the config in game! Use /setservermotd and the message for people who have joined before will be set! You must use an underscore (_) for a space!
I have started to add placeholders! The only placeholder right now is Added new placeholders:
%username% which will be replaced with the player's username.
%xyz% which will be replaced with the players co-ordinates.
%gamemode% which will be replaced with the players gamemode.
%ip% which will be replaced with the players ip address.
%uuid% which will be replaced with the players UniqueId
You can now view both messages using /b4msg for people who have joined before and /firstmsg for people who have never joined before.
Download the .jar file of the plugin and put it in the plugins folder of your minecraft server. Delete any old configurations for this plugin and restart your minecraft server. A new configuration will be created inside the CustomJoinMessage folder which is also created in the plugins folder.
Here is the configuration file:
