This version (1.4) represents a complete rewrite from the ground up, bringing a modern, optimized, and fully-featured experience for your server's player greetings. What's New in v1.4? This update is a comprehensive overhaul, replacing the previous version with a robust, new codebase designed for stability and future expansion. · Complete Plugin Rewrite: Built from scratch for cleaner code, better performance, and enhanced reliability. · Extended Version Compatibility: Now fully supports Minecraft servers from 1.13.x up to 1.21.x+, ensuring your greetings work flawlessly on the latest PaperMC/Spigot versions. · Enhanced Chat Messages: Fully configurable join and quit messages for chat, supporting color codes and PlaceholderAPI. · Immersive Actionbar Greetings: Display dynamic welcome messages directly in the player's actionbar, with configurable duration. · Dynamic Title & Subtitle: Greet players with custom titles and subtitles on screen, including customizable fade-in, display, and fade-out timings. · Chat MOTD on Join: Present a multi-line Message of the Day (MOTD) directly in chat to newly joined players. · Permission-Based Messages: Implement different join/quit messages for players based on their permissions (e.g., unique welcomes for VIPs or staff members). · Full PlaceholderAPI Integration: Utilize any PlaceholderAPI placeholder (%player_name%, %online_players%, etc.) in all messages for dynamic content. · Full Color Code Support: Use standard Minecraft color codes (&a, &l, &r, etc.) to make your messages vibrant. · Improved Configuration: A redesigned and intuitive config.yml for easier setup and customization of all features. · Reload Command: Conveniently reload plugin settings in-game with /jqm reload. How to Update · Backup: Always make a backup of your plugins/CustomJoinQuitMessage/ folder and your plugins folder. · Remove Old Version: Delete the old CustomJoinQuitMessage.jar file from your plugins/ folder. · Install New Version: Place the new CustomJoinQuitMessage-1.4.jar into your plugins/ folder. · Restart Server: Perform a full server restart (not just /reload). · Configure: A new config.yml will be generated.
