Cych's Portal

Hi!

I recently made this site for a friend of mine and thought I'd release it to the public. It's responsive*, written in HTML5 and Tailwindcss, and should easily be modified to fit any needs. It's animated via css (the logo slides in from the top and the icons fade in) and there's minimal javascript.

*There might be a chance it doesn't scale to your mobile devices. I obviously can't test this as I don't have all the devices in the world. If it doesn't just send me a pm or message me on Discord at Cych#0001 before leaving a review and I'll sort it out for ya.

I'll very quickly run through how to modify it to your liking, and I'll leave a ss at the bottom.

Background :Changing the background is super easy. Just drop your logo in as images/background.jpg and delete the other one.

Logo : Changing the logo is super easy. Just drop your logo in as images/logo.png and delete the other one. Voila!

IP : On line 143 of index.html you'll see " mc.yourip.net ." Just change this to your ip. The Copy IP button will work automagically.

Links : The links in the index file currently point to nothing. To get them to point to something, find lines 148-160 and change the

href="#"

to

href="forums.yoursite.com"

.

Tooltips : The images that contain the links have these nifty animated tooltips on them. To change what they say, go to the same lines as above and change

data-tippy-content="FORUMS">

to whatever you want yours to say.

News Header : To change the title and text of the news header simply change the text on lines 126 and 127 in index.html.

Favicon and Website Title : To change the title, change the text on line 14 of index.html, to change the favicon just upload your favicon as images/favicon-16x16.png.

Votes Links : It's laid out the same as Links was. Go to votes.html and find lines 141-147. Customize the text and tooltips accordingly, and change the href to your links. If you don't need five just remove the extras and it will scale automatically.

I also do custom sites. I threw this one together for free in about two hours yesterday. To check out my site, contact me for questions or a custom site, or make a donation, visit https://chaseb.me .

Thanks!

I never put a footer in my designs due to the fact that I think they're intrusive and upsetting to the people who use them, and they get taken out anyways. I do however have a comment at the top of the source for both pages. It's not visible on the surface of the site, only in the source code. It would be great if you would leave it! Thanks!
