What's the big deal?
Let me show you...


Mobs scale EVERY. SINGLE. DAY!
Each day that passes, whether you are staying up through the entire night, or if all players decide to sleep through the darkness, mobs will grow more powerful!
Health will be scaled to allow mobs to survive more hits, and also survive longer when the sun is out burning them!
Strength is also a big fear with scalability! Each day that passes, the stronger each mob gets! That's right! Whether it's the arrow of a skeleton, the explosion of a creeper, ghast, Ender Dragon, or Whither- all damage incoming from mobs will be scaled to the set rate!
Allies will also be affected by the scaling! Dogs, cats, horses, etc will be affect with both the damage and health rates! Now might be a better time than ever to build you strong army of dogs! Any dog that is bred will be scaled with the current day, but current dogs will not scale with the next day, making continuously breeding crucial in their survival, and maybe even yours!

Experience Orbs scale with mobs!

Not all doom and gloom! As a reward for surviving the harsh environments of the mobs, you will be gaining experience at elevated rates! Use this in attempt to stay ahead of the scaling and timer! At a risk of falling behind, there is also a risk of never being able to catch back up! Keep your gear enchanted, and as powered as you can keep it! It's only a matter of time before a skeleton can 1-shot you with no armor! (Drop rate can be adjusted through commands. See Documentation for Command Tree)
