DeluxeTabs

2.0

Allow your players to set their tablist prefix.

·Plugin

DeluxeTabs
DeluxeTabs is a plugin that allows your players to set their tablist prefix. It is fully configurable to your liking, from the prefixes used in commands / guis, to the prefixes that players can set. It's a perfect plugin for servers that want to make their experience more enjoyable.

Rewrite
I have completely rewritten DeluxeTabs. In this rewrite I've removed features I see as unnecessary, optimized the code, eased configuration, and added the ability to add infinite tags rather than just a set amount. To see all of the changes, go to the repository and view the commit.

Features
- Allows you to manually set the prefix of a target player in game or in the console
- Allows you to configure the prefixes available to use
- Allows you to clear the prefix of a user in game or in the console.
Permissions

permissions:
   deluxetabs.tabprefix
If you want players to be able to have custom prefixes(/tabprefix), you have to give them this permission node.
   deluxetabs.setprefix.self
Allows a player to manually set the prefix of themselves.
   deluxetabs.setprefix.others
Allows a player to manually set the prefix of others.
   deluxetabs.clearprefix.self
Allows a player to manually clear the prefix of themselves.
   deluxetabs.clearprefix.others
Allows a player to manually clear the prefix of others.

Commands

/tabprefix
Upon execution of this command a GUI is openened, allowing them to click on nametags that have corresponding values from prefixes.yml.
/setprefix [prefix/name] [blank/name]
Allows the console, or a player with appropriate permissions, to manually set a player's default prefix.
/clearprefix <name>
Allows the console, or a player with appropriate permissions, to manually clear a player's default prefix.

A few notes:

  • I've removed support for the default prefix to be the group of the player. This is because 1.) it adds an unnecessary dependency and 2.) I see no logical need for it. If there's a demand for this feature, I will implement it in a future version.

Todo:
❌ Add a help command
❌ Create an API to allow Devs to hook into the data
❌ Implement SQL support
