DistanceChat is a plugin that limits a player's talk distance.

This plugin is useful for servers like Walking Dead or Towny.
You can configure the plugin to be realistic, or not realistic at all.

How does this plugin work? There are a few usages.

Realistic
You see a player on a distance, you tried to talk to him. But the server you're in uses this plugin. You have to get closer to that player to talk!

Unrealistic
The server you're in is crowded, the chat is spammy, colourful, and it hurts your eye, right? All you wanted is to talk to your friend, yup?
With this plugin, you can enter the local chat mode, get close to your friend, and talk to him! The local chat mode blocks all global chats.

And there are more, but I'm not gonna list them all ;)

FOR STAFF
If you want to monitor the local chat, but you don't want to enter the local chat and approach a player to see his messages, this plugin has a built-in command to Spy, allows you to all messages from all players in the local chat.

Configuration

#Chat distance
#The default distance is 20

#Enabled message

#Disabled message

#Lock local chat for everyone

#Local chat locked message

/localchat - Toggles local chat
/localchat admin - Enables admin mode (spy)
/localchat reload - Reload config
