  1. V15latestV15.125.3Jul 28, 2026
V15 — Abilities & Autonomy (66 fixes, 48 improvements) - The plugin now maintains itself: automatic timestamped backups of the data folder (retention, time-limited activation, restore applied at the next startup with the archive validated before anything is wiped), auto-update of the jar from the GitHub releases, and automatic verification of config.yml and the data files against the reference schema — missing keys added, unknown ones reported, invalid values reset, canonical ordering rewritten. - Added /dominus patchnote, which brings these release notes into the console from a local cache refreshed at boot, so it still works offline. - The mob palette: a paginated menu to disguise as any mob type in the game, whether one is nearby or not — opened from the Mob Mode hotbar, from the inventory while disguised, or through /dominus palette [overworld|nether|end], which accepts a dimension category to open it directly. Mobs are listed in creative-inventory order, identical in every language. - Real mob abilities: guardian and elder guardian lasers (the true vanilla beam driven through the disguise watcher), wither skulls with their charged variant, evoker fangs and vex summoning, illusioner bow, mirror images and blindness spell, bogged poisoned arrows, allay item carrying, and the mount kick — all governed by vanilla cooldowns under vanilla_fidelity. - The wither disguise became a full boss fight: second phase below half health with armor and block destruction, wither effect scaled by difficulty on both melee and skulls, wither roses planted where its victims fall, nether star dropped on death, immunity to arrows and tridents in phase two, and a boss bar shown to nearby players — with a new show_boss_bar option covering the ender dragon as well, and the bar never displayed to the Dominus carrying it. - Passive fidelity per species: out-of-water timers specific to each aquatic mob that survive re-disguising and only recharge in water (guardians no longer suffocate on land), armadillos rolling into a ball at vanilla threats, real armadillos no longer treating a Dominus as a danger, and snow golems leaving a snow trail under the actual vanilla conditions. - Other players can now interact with a disguised Dominus's body: shearing the snow golem's pumpkin (which drops), brushing a scute off the armadillo, saddling a disguised horse or pig, feeding a disguised mount, taming it the vanilla way before it accepts a saddle, and riding it without ever gaining control of it. - Death messages no longer expose a disguised Dominus's name — the mob's name or the Sonic Boom message is shown instead — and are filtered per observer according to hide_presence. - Hotbars were reworked from scratch: World Mode and Mob Mode each fit entirely within nine slots and switch through a dedicated item in slot 9 or /dominus switch, the gamemode toggle, the grower/ungrower and the fire spreader were dropped, and the disguised layout is now fixed and never shifts — the mob palette and the mount-swap saddle moved to the last inventory slots, where they trigger on click. - Entities no longer push a Dominus around, interaction reach scales with the disguise so large mobs can hit and interact without obstruction, and projectiles now hit disguises wider than the player's hitbox instead of passing straight through them. - Mob names in all five languages were realigned on the official Mojang names, and Overworld, Nether and End are proper nouns left untranslated everywhere, language files and READMEs alike. - Mount limitations acknowledged rather than papered over: rider-visible health synchronization, the jump charge gauge and mount inventory access were each attempted, proven unreachable server-side, and entirely removed. The rider is only hidden when hide_mount_riders is enabled, which remains the sole way to restore mining and attacks while carrying a passenger. - Robustness: a re-entrance lock stops a second event in the same tick from acting on the freshly rebuilt hotbar, the ender dragon left behind at undisguise reappears above the player in circling phase instead of trapping them in its hitbox, riders are dismounted and resynchronized when a disguised Dominus disconnects, deflected ghast fireballs become a real threat to their sender again, mobs created from the palette are never left behind, and a server shutdown no longer leaves a Dominus wearing its mob's attributes.

  2. V14V14.61Jul 18, 2026
V14 — Server Administration (49 fixes, 13 improvements) - Server-side configuration control: config_control.yml forces configuration values on players by scope (all players, either whitelist, unlisted Dominus, or per player, with player > group > all precedence), managed via /dominus control — forced options show up locked in /dominus config and are applied at boot, join, add, whitelist changes, and reload. - Added /dominus data: full per-player data sheets (status, rank, saved inventory, original gamemode, language, disguise state, pending notifications…), scope listings, snapshot reset, and previous-gamemode editing — with safeguards so an active Dominus's live data can never be destroyed. - The Super Dominus hierarchy now covers control and data: Super Dominus manage Dominus-rank players only, while global scopes, other Super Dominus, and enable/disable stay console-only. - Console power tools: /dominus reload for hand-edited files, config.yml viewable and editable in-console, separate console and player default languages, and default-language changes that no longer affect existing Dominus. - Full RCON support — the remote console is treated exactly like the local console through a dedicated RemoteServerCommandEvent listener. - Lifecycle automation: non-whitelisted Dominus automatically lose their status on disconnect (config toggle), and a deferred-notification system delivers every server-side change (whitelist removal/switch, reset, expiry, forced config, data edits) to offline players at their next login, in their language. - Built-in localized guides: welcome guide at first transformation, whitelist and Super Dominus promotion guides (caught up at reconnection), /dominus info with per-command explanations adapted to the caller's rank, a dedicated console guide, and a replay_info_messages option. - The mode indicator moved to a BossBar (no more overlap with high-health disguises' hearts) integrating the aquatic drying and bee-sting timers; /dominus config was repaged into three clickable pages, and every screen block (config, guides, data sheets) is vertically centered in the chat with visual line-wrap estimation. - Mount stacks: disguising as a ridden (or riding) mob grants a saddle item to swap places with the stack's other mob, the mount relation is genuinely rebuilt, and passengers are returned to the mob on undisguise. - Disguise fidelity: skeleton equipment mirrors the real mob and its bow-draw aiming follows the look direction, the bee's single-sting behavior is vanilla-faithful under vanilla_fidelity, endermen can grab any block without it, the new hide_mount_riders option hides your own rider from view, and the original gamemode survives chained disguises. - Stealth: hide_presence absorbed the fake connect/disconnect messages into a single setting, the [Dominus]/[Super Dominus] tab prefix is hidden from normal players via per-recipient packet filtering (validated in live runtime tests), and mute_sounds now covers positioned sounds (eating, drinking…). - Robustness: carried player-occupied vehicles stay in sync and drop into a real server-driven fall, /dominus reset preserves offline Dominus inventories for deferred restoration, whitelist conflicts self-resolve at load, language files inherit new keys from the jar after plugin updates, and the READMEs gained a Limitations section documenting the known hard constraints.

V13 — The Grand Polish (89 fixes, 27 improvements) - Two-tier access system: persisted Dominus and Super Dominus whitelists, /dominus whitelist management, [Super Dominus] tab prefix, and the dominus.use permission granted dynamically — the command is invisible and "unknown" to everyone else. - Disguised villagers became real merchants: a live hidden backing villager powers actual trades, reputation-based prices (hitting the villager raises them), restocking, and level-ups. - Full equipment inheritance: the mob's armor is genuinely worn, its weapons deal their vanilla damage in your hands, and everything is returned to the mob on undisguise. - The disguise's hands strictly mirror the player's hands (plugin utility items hidden), with the plugin sending its own equipment packets for reliability. - Complete enderman rework: blocks grabbed instantly into the hand as real placeable items, one block at a time, reactive stare-based anger, and vanilla provocation. - Per-player language selection with server-side translated mob names — lowercase, correct articles, and gender agreement in all five languages. - Presence hiding extended beyond the tab (hide_presence): hidden from other players' commands and from the server-list sample and player count. - New persistent players.yml replacing legacy files, with pre-disguise state, crash-safe restoration, and automatic migration. - Permanent action-bar mode indicator (World Mode / Mob Mode / "Disguised as {mob}"), aquatic drying countdown, night_vision option, native breathing with no visible effects, and /effect clear resistance. - Systematic hardening: full tab/visibility reconciliation across every flow, creative-inventory item-deletion protection, tab completion aligned with real permissions, aggro transfer to the reappeared mob, mob variants cloned for all species, and dozens of edge-case fixes — including this session's five (inventory-state purge on disconnect, console tab completion, bee agony restart, villager direct-click interactions, and exclusive entity grabbing).

V11 — Scale & Reach (10 fixes, 9 improvements) - The disguised player adopts the mob's real size and hitbox via the SCALE attribute (rabbits fit under one block, wardens don't). - Added the view_self_disguise option to see your own disguise in third person. - Fixed the damage pipeline priority so a disguised Dominus can never actually die from stacked disguise damage. - Water detection now uses isInWater, covering seagrass, kelp, and waterlogged blocks. - The entity holder can grab dropped items (without despawning), boats, minecarts, primed TNT, falling blocks, and XP orbs — and carried entities keep their passengers. - Full tree and biome coverage for the grower/ungrower: azaleas, giant mushrooms, Nether fungi, chorus plants, giant taigas, mangrove swamps, and pale oak. - Slime and magma cube sizes are copied onto the disguise and returned on undisguise. - Parrots joined the flying disguises; armor stands can no longer be transformed into. - Ability damage (sonic boom, goat ram) is no longer overwritten by the melee damage table. - Visibility, tab, and glow states are reapplied after /reload.

V10 — Vanilla Fidelity (27 fixes, 2 improvements) - Added the vanilla_fidelity master setting governing all vanilla-faithful disguise constraints. - Replicated vanilla immunities on disguises: fire/lava, fall damage (with goat/frog reductions), drowning, poison, and the witch's 85% magic resistance. - Added vanilla weaknesses: snow golems melt, iron golems and land undead sink, blazes and endermen are hurt by water and rain, undead stop burning in the rain. - Locked down item exfiltration: plugin items can no longer reach containers, bundles, item frames, armor stands, death drops, or the ground via fired arrows. - Real join/quit messages are now shown to observers who have fake messages disabled. - Transformation copies the mob's effective health, active potion effects, and burning state. - Full restoration on /reload and post-crash reconnection (attributes, effects, gamemode). - Enderman teleportation lands on top of the targeted block, centered, with camera orientation preserved. - New defaults: general starts on personalize with vanilla_fidelity, toggle_glow, and auto_redisguise_on_reconnect enabled. - Standardized the build on mvn clean package to keep iCloud conflict copies out of the jar.
