Dots is a particle program written in C# (PhysicsSets can be written with any language on the .NET Framework - such as C#, VB). It allows users to play with custom physics as they see fit, make what they want and experiment with new things. They may even create their own PhysicsSets (see https://files.allym.me/Writing PhysicsSets for Dots.pdf for information on how to begin coding these).
