    EC-DTC Changelog

    Version 3.0

EC-DTC 3.0 is a major update focused on making Destroy The Core events easier to manage, cleaner to configure, and more flexible for survival, factions, and competitive servers. ---

    New Features

    Multiple Event Locations
Events are no longer locked to a single core location in config.yml. Each DTC event now has its own file inside:
    plugins/EC-DTC/events/
This makes it possible to create multiple arenas, mines, worlds, or seasonal DTC locations without mixing all core settings into one large config.
    Per-Event Configuration
Each event can now define its own: - Core health - Core material - World and coordinates - Teleport spawn - Break sound - Schedule days and times - Start, end, timeout and stop commands - Warning announcements - Hit rewards - Life phases
    Event Phases
DTC events can now change as the core loses health. You can configure phases such as 75%, 50% and 25% with different: - Materials - Sounds - Messages - Commands - Hit rewards This gives each event more progression and makes the final moments feel more intense.
    Configurable Top Rewards
Top rewards now support positions with chance and conditions. Rewards can be configured per ranking position and can check: - Chance percentage - Minimum blocks required - Permission requirements Supported placeholders include: - %player% - %PLAYER% - %blocks% - %position% - %event_id% - %phase%
    Random Hit Rewards
Events can now reward players while they damage the core. Hit rewards support chance-based sections, allowing you to give small rewards during the event instead of only rewarding players at the end.
    Discord Webhook Support
Discord webhooks can now be used to announce: - Event start - Event end - Event stop Webhook messages support placeholders and optional embed styling.
    Event Announcements
Scheduled warning messages can now be configured per event. For example, one event can announce at 10, 5 and 1 minute, while another event can use a different announcement setup.
    New Admin Commands
    Several commands were added to make event management easier in-game: | Command | Description | |---|---| | /dtc list | Lists all configured events | | /dtc tp [id] | Teleports to an event location | | /dtc validate | Checks event files for common setup issues | | /dtc create <id> | Creates a new event file | | /dtc setcore <id> | Saves your current block as the event core | | /dtc setspawn <id> | Saves the teleport spawn for an event | | /dtc disable <id> | Disables an event without deleting it | | /dtc enable <id> | Enables a disabled event | | /dtc migrate v1 | Migrates old ECDTC v1 data | ---
    Old ECDTC Migration
Servers using the old ECDTC format can migrate their old data by placing the old folder here:
    plugins/ECDTC/config.yml
    plugins/ECDTC/lang.yml
    Then run:
    /dtc migrate v1
The migration creates backups before replacing files and moves old data into the new folder structure.
