Am I the only one confused about Essentials providing a /sell command but not /buy? To be brutally honest, sometimes I just don't want feel like setting up an entire sign shop or configuring a super excessive GUI shop just so I can buy a few items.
All I wanted was a quick and simple command that simply works and cooperates with the worth system provided by Essentials. Nothing more, nothing less. So I made one.
EzBuy is currently in open beta . I'm looking to get some feedback from the community. Tell me whether and how you like this plugin and how this can be improved to fit your needs as a server owner.
Features
- Adds a /buy command that takes an item name and (optionally) an amount
- Item worth is read from plugins/Essentials/worth.yml
- Buying prices have an applied percentage of increase over the defined item worth (configurable, set to 0 to turn off)
- Item name tab completion only includes buyable items
- Works with Vault
Command Usage / Aliases
- /buy <item>
- /order <item>
- /purchase <item>
And optionally a specific amount as the second argument.
Dependencies
- Spigot 1.15.x or newer
- Essentials 2.17 or newer
- Vault 1.7 or newer
Q&A
What about permissions?
Permission nodes have not been added yet, but hold tight, they will.
Does it work with economy plugins other than Vault?
At this point not yet. I will try to implement support for other major economy plugins soon, but I will mostly have it depend on what you guys need.
