FastCrystals is a server-side Crystal PvP optimization plugin designed to make End Crystal interactions feel significantly faster and more responsive — especially for players suffering from high latency.

Instead of changing Crystal PvP itself, FastCrystals focuses on one major problem:

The delay between the player, the server, and the result of their actions.

FastCrystals analyzes network conditions, tracks End Crystal interactions and applies carefully designed latency optimizations while keeping the server authoritative.

It works for normal vanilla players out of the box.

And with the optional ImAnEngineer's Fast Crystals client mod...

In normal Minecraft, Crystal PvP can become increasingly unresponsive as ping increases.

A player may:

Break a crystal
Wait for the server
Attempt to place another crystal
Wait again
Continue fighting

FastCrystals is designed to reduce the unnecessary latency surrounding this process.

BUILT FOR HIGH PING

FastCrystals is especially useful when latency starts becoming noticeable.

Instead of applying exactly the same behavior to everyone, FastCrystals can adapt its optimization profile depending on the player's connection.

Optimization profiles include:

• SAFE — Low latency
• BALANCED — Moderate latency
• HIGH — High latency
• MAX — Very high latency
• BEDROCK — Dedicated Bedrock handling
• Fallback — Extreme/unreliable network conditions

This allows FastCrystals to remain conservative for low-ping players while providing stronger latency compensation where it is actually useful.

ANTI-GHOST CRYSTAL SYSTEM

Prediction is useless if it leaves the client desynchronized.

FastCrystals therefore includes dedicated handling for ghost crystals and rejected predictions.

The plugin tracks what actually happens server-side instead of permanently assuming that a predicted action succeeded.

This helps FastCrystals recover from situations such as:

• Rejected interactions
• Sudden latency spikes
• Delayed packets
• Unexpected crystal state changes
• Another player interacting with the same crystal
• Server-side restrictions

The server always remains the final authority.

The mod is designed around the same idea as the plugin, but works from the client side.
