FastMinecartsCombined is a lightweight and configurable minecart speed plugin for Paper 26.2.

Configure minecart speeds based on the block underneath the rail, choose between two different movement modes, and monitor your speed with the built-in minecart speedometer.

🎯 Two Ways to Control Minecarts

FastMinecartsCombined gives you the choice between Minecraft's Minecart Improvements physics and the original Minecarts movement system.

🚄 Minecart Improvements Mode

Use Minecraft's minecart physics while controlling the maximum speed through the plugin.

• Configure speeds up to 1000 blocks/second

• Minecraft handles acceleration, deceleration and physics
• Supports all minecart types

⚙️ Legacy Mode

The original Minecarts movement system provides more direct control over minecart movement.

• Configurable maximum speed (max 30 blocks per second)
• Separate corner speed limit (prevent derailing)
• Block-based speed configuration (easy to change speed with GUI)
• Designed for predictable minecart movement

⚡ Speed Per Block

The block underneath the rail determines the configured minecart speed in both modes.

  GOLD_BLOCK: 40.0
  IRON_BLOCK: 20.0
  OAK_PLANKS: 8.0
  LODESTONE: 500.0

Speed is configured in blocks per second.

This allows you to create standard, fast and high-speed railway sections simply by changing the blocks underneath your rails and set your desired speed for it.

📟 Built-in Speedometer

The built-in minecart speedometer displays your current speed while riding.

Use it to easily test your railway, check actual minecart speeds and fine-tune your configuration.

🖥️ In-Game Configuration

Configure your minecart speeds directly in Minecraft with:

/mcspeed

The Minecart Block Speeds GUI lets you add blocks and adjust their configured speed without manually editing your configuration file.

🔄 Reload Configuration

If you do manually change the config file you can easily reload your configuration without restarting the server:

/fmcreload

🚀 High-Speed Minecarts

FastMinecartsCombined is designed for servers that want more control over minecart speed than vanilla Minecraft provides.

Create anything from normal transportation systems to high-speed minecart railways with speeds of up to 1000 blocks/second in Minecart Improvements Mode.

📦 Installation

1. Download the FastMinecartsCombined.jar file
2. Place the FastMinecartsCombined.jar file in your server's plugins folder.
3. Restart your server.
4. Configure your minecart speeds.
5. Use /mcspeed to configure blocks in-game.
6. To see the speedometer, just use the resource pack FastMinecartsCombined-Speedometer.zip given in your plugin folder
