  1. 2.0latestR2.0 - NEW MODES and much More...Aug 31, 2026
    ⚠️ Critical Architecture Changes
Unified Arena Types:* The independent boolean toggles for game modes have been removed. Arenas now use a single type key that determines their behavior. Independent Progression Tracking:* We separated time tracking from placement tracking. You can now use track-time and track-placement in config.yml to precisely define what is evaluated on a given map, regardless of the selected game mode. Dynamic Event Messages:* Race completion messages with placements (previously hardcoded) are now fully configurable via the event_finish_broadcast key in messages.yml. New Admin Command:* Added the /ftc setmode <arena> <type> command, which instantly applies the desired mode and cleans up legacy redundant values in the config.
    🔄 Automatic Data Migration
Upon the first launch of this new version, the plugin will automatically scan all existing arenas in your config.yml. If it detects legacy configurations (such as dropper-mode: true or elytra-mode: true), it safely transforms them into the new format and automatically sets the appropriate track values based on the historical arena type. All coordinates and saved checkpoints remain completely untouched. ---
    🎮 Supported Game Modes Overview
DEFAULT* Classic parkour or running mode. Players receive special hotbar items that allow them to instantly teleport back to their last saved checkpoint or directly to the start. By default, this mode tracks completion time. DROPPER* An arena focused on freefalling. This mode automatically detects and cancels fall damage—if a player lands incorrectly, they do not lose health but are instantly teleported back to the start while their timer seamlessly resets for a new attempt. ELYTRA* A flying race. The player is automatically equipped with an elytra chestplate and firework rockets right at the start. Checkpoints do not require precise block stepping; instead, they form a spatial 3D gate (a bounding box of 4.5 blocks in all directions) that only needs to be flown through. For every successful checkpoint pass, the player receives an additional firework rocket to continue their flight. PEARL* A technical challenge focused on throwing ender pearls. The player receives a single pearl in their inventory, which instantly regenerates (with a 1-tick delay) back into the first slot after each throw, providing an infinite supply for the race. MAZE* A specialized mode for mazes and orienteering runs. It shares most of its core mechanics with the DEFAULT mode but is separated in the configuration, allowing for easier integration of specific scoreboards and event placement tracking.

  2. 1.4R1.4 - On Death CheckpointJun 15, 2026
[Added] on-death-checkpoint - Adds full customization for player deaths and void falls. You can now choose whether players respawn at their last checkpoint, back at the start (0), at a specific checkpoint number, or if they should fail and leave the race entirely (enabled: false). !WARNING! If you have on your server lower version, you must add this section in config.yml manually or delete the file, but this deletes your maps.
