Increasing Item Drops
v5.0 Pre-Release/TestingEvery time you mine a block, the number of item drops increase by one!
v5.0 Pre-Release/TestinglatestIncreasing Item Drops with ConfigurationJul 5, 2021 Sorry for lack of updates, I was having some fun in summer break and I completely forgot about this project! Introducing: Increasing Item Drops with a configuration file! In the configuration file, you can edit basic and advanced features and mess around with how Increasing Item Drops works! Here is a detailed explanation on how each feature works! 1. plugin-on This feature is very basic, it just turns the plugin on and off. To turn the plugin off, edit the value to false, and to turn it on, edit the value to true. Default value is true. 2. reset-on-num-blocks-mined This feature is fun to mess around with. You can change the value to any number mined, and what this does is when that number of blocks is mined, it resets the item drops back to 1. For example, if you set the value to 10 and mine 10 blocks, you will get 55 blocks because of Increasing Item Drops, but on the 11th block you mine, you will get 1 block, and you can keep mining to increase the value. If you set the value to false, the plugin does not reset on any number of blocks mined. Default value is false. 3. reset-on-num-mobs-killed This feature works like the reset-on-num-blocks-mined feature. You can change the value to any number, and after you kill that amount of mobs, the number of drops will reset back to 1 and keep increasing until you reach that number, and so on and so forth. If you set the value of this feature to false, the plugin will keep increasing item drops for all mobs killed. Default value is false. 4. blocks This feature is a list feature, and some examples are already provided in the form of comments. What this feature does, is only increase item drops for certain blocks mined. For example, if you have only dirt in the list, the game will only give you increased item drops for dirt and not for any block. If you want a block to be in the list but not have increased item drops, you can set the value to false. To have all blocks have increased item drops, you can leave the list empty. Default value is empty. 5. mobs This feature is like the blocks feature. This only increases item drops for certain mobs killed. If you have only cows in the list set to true, only cows will drop increased item drops and no other mob will except for others in the list. To have all mobs have increased item drops, you can leave the list empty. Default value is empty. Note: This version is pre-release, so bugs and glitches are expected. If you notice any bugs or glitches, you can comment here or leave an issue on the official github website of this plugin. If you didn't know, bStats is a plugin metric for Spigot/Bukkit plugins and now, Increasing Item Drops is on it. The number of servers that the plugin is supported on is now reported to it, and I (as well as other people) can monitor the popularity of the plugin! I recommend to keep bStats enabled in its config.yml, and all data sent to the website is completely anonymous. However, if you are not feeling comfortable with that, you can just disable...4.1bStats now supports Increasing Item DropsMay 9, 2021 bStats now supports Increasing Item Drops! If you didn't know, bStats is a plugin metric for Spigot/Bukkit plugins and now, Increasing Item Drops is on it. I recommend to keep bStats enabled in its config.yml, and all data sent to the website is completely anonymous. However, if you are not feeling comfortable with that, you can just disable it in config.yml. Check it out here: https://bstats.org/plugin/bukkit/Increasing Item Drops/112984.0Increasing Item Drops w/ Mob DropsMay 4, 2021 Increasing Item Drops now has MOB DROPS! This means, that if you mined 22 blocks, and you kill a cow, that along with the cow's original drops, you will get 22 more leather and raw beef. This also applies to human drops. The plugin also drops stacks of normally un-stackable material, such as armor and even the Ender Dragon Egg. Also, getting mob drops also increases the amount of drops you will get by one the next time a mob dies or the next time you mine a block. Also, make sure you run /itemdrops add <username> so you yourself can enable it for you! Watch out for more updates!3.1Increasing Item DropsMay 4, 2021 Made minor optimizations Fixed bug where people could make people Increasing Item Drops players when they are not online Fixed grammar mistakes.3.0Increasing Item Drops w/ Adding & RemovingApr 12, 2021 So, in the last week some people came to me asking that they wanted to troll their friends in their server and when they ran /itemdrops on, that turned on the Increasing Item Drops for everyone in the server, so that put forth the issue of turning on Increasing Item Drops for one person or several people at a time. Increasing Item Drops w/ Adding & Removing Now, you can run /itemdrops add <username> to make them an Increasing Item Drops user and you can run /itemdrops remove <username> to make a person get regular drops. Note: If multiple people are Increasing Item Drop users then if Person A mines a block, they get 1 and if Person B mines a block they will get 2.2.3Increasing Item Drops w/ Tab CompleterApr 10, 2021 This is an extra additional update for the /itemdrops command because some people might not know how to turn on the command because most people don't bother reading the instructions. This is where a tab completer gets introduced so they can just do /itemdrops and Minecraft displays a list of parameters (on | off | true | false) that people can use. Note that this is JRE 8 because I realized that JRE 9 was a bit less popular1.1Increasing Item Drops (JRE 9)Apr 4, 2021 JRE ISSUE If you are using some server hosting services such as Server.pro or Minehut, etc. if you get an error with the original file, then you can download the IncreasingItemDropsJRE9.jar file. Using Server.pro, if you go to Dashboard on the left, then click Advanced Settings, then click the drop down menu underneath Java Version. Select Java 9 - HotSpot. Then you can go to Plugins or you can upload the file.2.2Increasing Item DropsMar 3, 2021 Minor Change: The help command for the /itemdrops didn't look good, so I changed that; added the on and off parameters to the help command as well.2.1Increasing Item DropsMar 3, 2021 This is the same as the previous update but it will now send a message when you have run the command to tell you that the item drops have turned off. Note that turning it off when it is off (or turning it on when it is on) will not affect anything, just that you will get sent a message in chat.2.0Increasing Item Drops (With Commands)Mar 3, 2021 Now this has commands so you can turn it on and off whenever you would like and continue with your Minecraft gameplay! Use /itemdrops [on|true] to turn it on, or use /itemdrops [off|false] to turn it off!1.0Mar 2, 2021
