John's Rp Bundle

What I intend to make in the end is a MMORPG server plugin or at least a fully packed roleplay bundle.

IMPORTANT
If your console is bring spammed with Console Messages that contain Debug or have ToonBaseLocal.uploadToon for example. Look inside Rp/Settings/core_settings.json and make debugState = false

Formulas:

1. Damage:

• Melee: (Strength * 2)
• Ranged: (Agility * 2)
• Sword Bonus Formula = (Strength * 2) + (Player Agility + Weapon Agility)/2);
• Axe Bonus Formula = (Strength * 2) + ((Player Agility + Weapon Agility)/4);

2. Cooldown:

• BaseCooldown = 80 ticks{4 seconds}
• Cooldown = (BaseCooldown - (Weapon Skill*10{1 second})

Current Features :

• First & Last Names with genders
• A chat system that goes by distance with the ability to whisper, talk or yell
• A Out of Character chat system that can be toggle to talk into by using /ooc or using /ooc on | /ooc off to display ooc chat
• Full JSON support
• Karma System - Inspired by TTT to allow game-masters to penalize failRp and rules (Currently implemented, but barebones)
• Commenting code for contributors (Currently up to date with V0.0.2)
• more debug calls

What Im Working On :

• Making it easier to interact with the MySql aspect of the plugins
• Damage Formulas, Custom Weapons, Custom Armor and Cooldowns

Planned Features :

• Government or tribal implementation of a grouping system
• And much more

Permissions:

Rp Core:
rp.player - An admin command. Allows to search player's info in the database.

Rp Chat:
rp.whisper - Allows the user to whisper.
rp.talk - Allows the user to talk.
rp.yell - Allows the user to yell.
rp.color - Allows the user to color their own name.
rp.ooc - Allows the user to toggle ooc

Rp Karma :
rp.negate - allows an admin to negate karma from a player that is performing badly on the server.

rp.karma - allows an admin to check a player's karma file

Rm MMO:
rp.mmo.check - Allows an admin to check other player's character sheet
rp.mmo.item - allows and admin to directly spawn items
rp.mmo.character - allows a user to view their own character sheet
rp.mmo.level - allows to user to level up their stats/skills

Commands(first & last refer to names):

Rp Core:

• /player - Usage: /player first last | Looks up player details.

Rp Chat:

• /whisper or /w - Sets your chat distance to whisper
• /talk or /t - Sets your chat distance to talk
• /yell or /y - Sets your chat distance to yell
• /color - Usage: /color color or /color name color | Colors your name
• /ooc - Usage: /ooc switches between talking in ooc or in game chat. /ooc [on/off or 1/0] toggles ooc chat displaying

Rp Karma:

• /negate - Usage: /negate first last offense description | Registers an offense on the offender's karma negating its total.
• /karma - Usage: /karma first last | Prints player's karma file

Rp MMO:

• /level - Usage: /level stat or /level skill
• /character - Usage: /character
• /item - Usage: /item [itemType] [itemId] or /item create type material strength agility dexterity name
• /mmo - Usage: /mmo [first] [last]

Other Need to know information:

This plugin package is still in the most alpha of development. I decided to release this plugin for good pointers and community criticism.

If this plugin crashes for any reason look inside ./plugins/RP_Core/Settings/core_settings.json and locate debugState and change it from false to true. You will notice a bunch of debug messages pop up in the console. If there is a crash send the stack trace plus the debug messages to me at [email protected]
