Many permissions plugins have fallen behind.
PermissionsEX, GroupManager, you name it, it's gone. With the fall of traditional bukkit, lots of well-known permissions plugins died, leaving a vacuum in the market. Enter Kindust Permissions - the new kid on the street. Using robust, industry standard YAML files for all storage, this plugin is like a train. It cannot be stopped.
Define groups in the config.yml file, and use /kp set [playername] [rank] to give a player the permissions under that rank. Simple inheritance key:value pairs allow for a hierarchy of permissions. Here is an example:
groups:
default:
permissions:
- essentials.afk
- essentials.afk.auto
- essentials.back
- essentials.balance
- essentials.balancetop
- essentials.book
partyofficial:
inherits: comrade
permissions:
- essentials.sethome.multiple.partyofficial
- preciousstones.limit7
premier:
inherits: partyofficial
permissions:
- essentials.sethome.multiple.premier
- preciousstones.limit8
See? Permissions are simple. This plugin also allows rapid editing-and-testing of ranks, with /kp reload to reload the config. This is the plugin you're looking for.
