1.4.1latestLederProtections 1.4.14 weeks ago LederProtections 1.4.1
A maintenance release focused on clearer menus, more polished holograms, and safer, more efficient per-viewer displays.GUI and public directory
- Replaced repeated icons in the protection menu with more distinct materials, making unrelated actions easier to tell apart. - Added optional Minecraft skin heads for public-directory categories. - Configure a category texture withpublic-protections.categories.<id>.head-textureusing the 64-character hash from atextures.minecraft.netskin URL. - Leave the texture blank to use the category's configured material icon. Invalid or unsupported values also fall back to that icon. - Category textures are validated locally; the plugin does not contact a skin catalogue at runtime.Holograms
- Removed the large rectangular background panel from protection holograms while keeping text shadows for readability. - Improved the default hologram to show a welcome message, protection name, owner, description, world, and protection coordinates. - Documented the available native hologram variables inconfig.yml, including{title}/{name},{owner}, and{user}. - Clarified the distinction between{owner}(the protection owner) and{user}(the player viewing the hologram). - Holograms that use{user}are displayed privately to each nearby viewer, so viewer-specific text is not shared with other players. - Updated viewer displays on relevant events such as movement, joining, respawning, and chunk loading. Displays are cleaned up when players leave the area or disconnect. - Holograms do not use per-tick world scans or force chunks to load just to display text. - Hologram lines support legacy&color and formatting codes. - PlaceholderAPI tokens can be used in holograms when PlaceholderAPI is installed. Private holograms resolve them using the viewer's context and refresh on movement or reload, not every tick.bStats metrics
- Server owners can disable bStats for all plugins inplugins/bStats/config.ymlby settingenabled: false.Compatibility and configuration
- Continues to use Bukkit APIs and the existing supported Spigot API matrix. - No protection-data migration is required. - Existing custom hologram lines are preserved when the configuration is updated. - If a custom hologram line used{user}to mean the protection owner, change it to{owner}.{user}now means the viewing player.1.4.0LederProtections 1.4.0 Warps & HoloSep 2, 2026 v1.4.0
Public protection directory, holograms, and native environmental policies.Added
- Added opt-in public protection profiles with configurable titles, descriptions, categories, icons, welcome messages, visit points, and visibility. - Added the/warpspublic directory with search, category filtering, sorting, favorites, visit counters, and pagination. - Added configurable public-visit warmups, cooldowns, movement/damage cancellation, cross-world control, and safe destination validation. - Added administrator controls for featured and hidden directory entries. - Added BukkitTextDisplayholograms with configurable lines, placeholders, range, height, and per-protection state. - Added inheritable per-protection environmental policies for hostile spawning, TNT, creepers, other explosions, and fire spread.Changed

- None (Help on github if you knows)Notes
- No manual protection-data migration is required. - Customizedholograms.lineslists are not overwritten. casqi idea, ty1.3.0LederProtections 1.3.0Aug 8, 2026 LederProtections v1.3.0
This update introduces per-protection environment settings for hostile mobs, explosions, and fire.New Environment Settings
A new Environment menu is available from the protection management GUI. Each setting has three states: - Enabled - Disabled - Default The Default state inherits the server-wide configuration.Available Settings
- Hostile Spawning - TNT Explosions - Creeper Explosions - Other Explosions - Fire SpreadHostile Spawning
- Control hostile mob spawning separately for each protection. - Supports natural spawning, spawners, spawn eggs, dispensers, raids, patrols, and reinforcements. - Passive animals, villagers, golems, bees, and wolves are unaffected. - Mobs created through commands or compatible custom-mob plugins are not blocked. - Visitors still need the appropriate permission to use spawn eggs.Explosion Settings
- Separate controls for TNT, creepers, and other explosion types. - Supports regular TNT, TNT minecarts, redstone activation, dispensers, beds, respawn anchors, End Crystals, fireballs, wither skulls, and withers. - Disabled explosions cannot destroy protected blocks, decorations, armor stands, or vehicles. - End Crystals cannot be activated or destroyed while Other Explosions is disabled, preventing their explosion damage. - Player and creature damage remains controlled by the existing combat rules when an explosion is allowed.Fire Spread
- Control fire spreading, environmental ignition, and block burning. - Includes fire caused by adjacent flames and lava. - Manually lighting fire still requires the normal player permissions. - Grass, mycelium, sculk, mushrooms, and natural growth are unaffected.Boundary Protection
Environmental effects cannot cross protection boundaries: - Outside effects cannot enter a protection. - Effects from inside a protection cannot damage the outside. - Effects cannot travel from one protection into another. - Effects within the same protection follow its configured setting. - Events occurring completely outside protections are unaffected. Moving explosives and projectiles retain their original source, preventing TNT cannons and similar mechanisms from bypassing protection boundaries.GUI Improvements
- Added an Environment button to the protection management menu. - Added clear icons and descriptions for every environment setting. - The menu displays only the current state and server default. - Settings cycle through:Default → Enabled → Disabled- Owners, administrators, and authorized co-owners can manage these settings. - Members and visitors cannot modify them.Configuration and Data
- Existing protections automatically use the new server defaults. - Per-protection settings persist after server restarts. - Changing a server default and running/lep reloadupdates every protection using Default. - Existing configuration files are updated without overwriting customized values. - Invalid setting names or values are ignored safely and reported in the console. - Native protection exports and imports preserve environment settings. - No destructive protection-data migration is required.Back up your server files before updating.

Protection-boundary and automation security hotfixes.Added
- Addedcontainer-openas an independent rule for dispensers, droppers, hoppers, furnaces, brewing stands, crafters, and other functional containers. - Added persistent origin tracking for falling blocks and dispenser projectiles without resident projectile maps. - Added authoritative dispenser projectile checks for impacts, entity damage, fire, explosions, splash potions, and lingering potion clouds.Changed
- Purely environmental block formation is allowed inside protections while entity-caused formation is validated separately. -pressure-plate-usenow also documents and controls tripwire and redstone ore for backward-compatible configuration keys. - New installations deny visitor physical-trigger use by default. Existing configured values remain preserved during updates. - Redstone boundary checks now compare direct power per face and retain legitimate internal power when internal and external signals coexist. - Ender chests are governed bychest-open; other functional containers usecontainer-open.Fixed
- Fixed natural snow, ice, fluid generators, concrete hardening, snow golems, and authorized Frost Walker being blocked by the environmental listener. - Fixed automatic bone meal and moss growth crossing from outside or between different protections. - Fixed pressure plates, farmland trampling, turtle eggs, tripwire, and redstone ore bypassing physical-interaction rules. - Fixed exterior pressure plates and foreign redstone sources activating protected mechanisms. - Fixed visitors opening dispensers, droppers, hoppers, furnaces, and similar containers without a dedicated rule. - Fixed Endermen, falling blocks, villagers, sheep, and other entity block changes not enforcing protection boundaries consistently. - Fixed dispenser projectiles relying only on a short trajectory prediction and allowing distant secondary effects. - Fixed protected dispensers firing when their only direct power source belonged to the exterior or another protection. - Fixed duplicate entity-interaction message cooldown entries remaining after players disconnected.Notes
- No protection-data migration is required. - Missingcontainer-openkeys and translations are merged automatically without overwriting customized values. - Existingpressure-plate-usevalues are intentionally preserved; administrators upgrading from an older config should review that rule for visitors.
