History / Background
The first BlockHunt plugin was released over 10 years ago. MCHunt is a personal remake of that classic gameplay — created out of nostalgia and to bring the fun to modern servers with new features and improvements.

Quick Start
1. Download the release JAR from GitHub Releases
2. Place the JAR in your server's plugins/ folder
3. Install dependencies (see below) and restart the server

• Arena-based Hide & Seek gameplay
• GUI-driven setup & admin menus
• Sign integration for joining/interaction
• Localised messages (English provided)
• WorldGuard regions support

Requirements & Compatibility
• Java 21 (targets Java 21)
• Server: Spigot/Paper 1.21.x
• Dependencies: ProtocolLib, LibsDisguises, WorldGuard
• Recommended: WorldEdit (required by WorldGuard)

Installation
1. Build or download the JAR
2. Place it in plugins/
3. Ensure ProtocolLib, LibsDisguises, WorldGuard (and WorldEdit) are present
4. Restart — plugin will generate config & data folders

️ Basic Usage (Commands)
• /mchunt - Opens the main GUI

Most actions are via the in-game GUI rather than typed commands

Permissions
• mchunt.admin - Access admin/setup menus

Configuration & Data
• Arenas data: plugins/MCHunt/arenas/
• Arena setup data: plugins/MCHunt/arena_setup/
• Localization files: language_en.properties, language_en_US.properties
