Overview

Stop struggling with leads and boats! Mob In A Bucket (MIAB) allows your players to catch mobs directly into buckets, carry them around in their inventory with full data preservation, and even use them to power custom spawners.

✨ Key Features

• Catch Mobs: Simply right-click any allowed mob with a bucket to catch it.
• Data Preservation: Saves EVERYTHING! Health, armor, held items, villager trades, professions, age, and more.
• Mob Management GUI: Right-click a filled bucket to open a menu where you can:
  • Rename: Apply nametags directly in the GUI.
  • Heal/Feed: Feed the mob food items to restore its health (+4HP per item).
  • View Trades: Preview villager trades without placing them down.
• Custom Spawners: Craft a special "Captured Spawner" and insert your caught mobs to create a functional spawner!
• Spawner Durability: Configure how many mobs a spawner can produce before it stops, or set it to infinite.
• Auto-Release: Dropping a bucket on the ground will automatically release the mob after a few seconds.
• Highly Configurable: Control which mobs are allowed, their spawner limits, and all messages.

️ How It Works

1. Catching & Releasing

• Hold a standard Bucket.
• Right-Click a mob to catch it (requires permission).
• Shift + Right-Click on a block to release the mob exactly where you want it.

2. The Mob GUI

• Right-Click the "Gefangener Mob" bucket in the air to open the Management GUI.
• Drag a Name Tag into the rename slot to change the mob's name.
• Drag valid Food into the feeding slot to heal the mob inside the bucket!

3. Custom Spawners

• Craft a Captured Spawner using the custom recipe.
• Place it down and Right-Click it.
• Insert a filled Mob Bucket into the menu.
• The spawner will now spawn that exact type of mob!
• Note: Once a spawner has been used, the bucket is locked inside!

Permissions & Commands

• Main Command: None needed for basic use!
• /miab-reload - Reloads the configuration file.

Permissions:

• miab.use

  - Allows catching and releasing mobs (Default: true).

• miab.admin

  - Allows reloading the config.
