✨ Overview

MythicVote is a lightweight but complete Minecraft voting system built to handle the entire voting process from receiving the vote to rewarding the player.

Unlike reward plugins that require a separate Votifier installation, MythicVote now includes its own built-in Votifier-compatible vote receiver.

Configure a port, add the generated public key or token to your voting sites, and MythicVote can receive votes directly.

Once a vote arrives, MythicVote can:

Built-In Vote Receiver

MythicVote can receive votes directly from Minecraft server listing websites.

No separate NuVotifier or VotifierPlus plugin is required.

The receiver supports common Votifier authentication methods used by voting websites, including RSA public-key authentication and token-based authentication.

Automatic RSA & Token Generation

MythicVote automatically generates the authentication files needed when configuring your voting websites.

Your RSA folder keeps the generated voting credentials together so they are easy to locate.

Configurable Vote Rewards

Run any console commands whenever a player votes.

Money, items, experience, claim blocks, crate keys from another plugin, permissions, custom items and practically any other command-based reward can be used.

Offline Vote Rewards

Players do not need to be online when they vote.

Votes received while a player is offline are stored and can later be claimed using:

Monthly Vote Tracking

Track each player's votes for the current month and use them for competitions and Top Voter rewards.

Lifetime Vote Tracking

Maintain a permanent lifetime vote total for every player.

Lifetime Vote Milestones

Milestones can run commands, broadcast achievements and send Discord announcements.

Built-In Vote Listener / Receiver

MythicVote can now act as the voting receiver itself.

That means a normal MythicVote installation can handle:

You no longer need to install another plugin solely to receive Votifier votes.

Basic Setup

1. Install MythicVote and start the server.

2. MythicVote generates its voting authentication files.

The generated RSA directory contains the credentials used when registering your server with voting websites, including your public key and token.

3. Configure the receiver port in MythicVote.

For most servers the listener host can remain:

0.0.0.0

This means the receiver listens on the server's available network interfaces.

Do not enter 0.0.0.0 as your server address on voting websites.

Voting websites should use your actual server IP address or hostname.

4. Make sure the configured voting port is open or allocated by your hosting provider.

5. Add the server to your voting websites using the required authentication method.

For sites using RSA/Votifier V1, use the generated public key.

For sites using token authentication/Votifier V2, use the generated token.

Never share the private RSA key.

Your token should only be supplied to trusted voting services that require it.

Once configured, votes are sent directly to MythicVote.

Vote rewards are handled using console commands, allowing MythicVote to work alongside almost any other plugin.

Because rewards are command based, MythicVote does not need to directly hook into your economy, permissions or crate plugins.

Offline Voting & /mv claim

Players can still vote while they are offline.

Instead of losing the reward, MythicVote stores the pending vote until the player returns.

The player can then use:

/mv claim

to receive all waiting vote rewards.

Administrators can also claim pending rewards for an online player using:

/mv claim <player>

Offline claim messages and broadcasts can be customized through the configuration.

This makes MythicVote suitable for server listing sites that deliver votes regardless of whether the player is currently connected.

Vote Milestones

MythicVote can reward players for reaching specific lifetime vote totals.

Example:

Milestones are useful for creating long-term incentives for regular voters.

They can reward money, items, permissions, external crate keys or any other reward accessible through a server command.

Monthly & Lifetime Leaderboards

MythicVote maintains separate monthly and lifetime rankings.

Players can view the monthly leaderboard using:

/mv top

or:

/mv top monthly

Lifetime rankings can be viewed using:

/mv top lifetime

The leaderboard limit, headers, footers, colours and ranking format can all be customized.

Monthly rankings are perfect for recurring Top Voter competitions while lifetime rankings show your server's most dedicated supporters.

Physical Leaderboard Signs

MythicVote includes its own physical sign leaderboard system.

You can build a Top-10 voting leaderboard directly at your server spawn without requiring a separate hologram or leaderboard plugin.

To create a monthly leaderboard sign, place a normal Minecraft sign and enter:

Lifetime Leaderboard Signs

MythicVote is intentionally focused on receiving votes, rewarding players and tracking voting progression.

The previous built-in vote crate system has been removed.
