NameTagX is a modern and powerful NameTag management plugin designed for Minecraft 1.21+ servers using Paper or Spigot.
It allows you to fully customize player name tags with prefixes, suffixes, colors, priorities and permissions, without using NMS or packets.

Requirements
- Java 21
- Paper 1.21+ or Spigot 1.21+
- Permission plugin (LuckPerms recommended)
Installation
- Download NameTagX.jar
- Put it into your plugins/ folder
- Restart the server
- Configure groups.yml
- Give permissions to players/rank
⚠️ Notes
- Prefix + suffix visual length is limited to 16 characters (Minecraft limitation)
- Avoid using multiple NameTag plugins at the same time
