  1. 1.1.1latestUpdateJul 25, 2026
Fixed · The plugin did not work on Paper 26.1.x — messages and commands threw NoSuchMethodError. Adventure 4 and 5 are not binary compatible and 1.1.0 was built against 5.x. The build now targets the oldest supported version, and every reference is verified against all three Adventure versions automatically. · Cave ore was fully visible to cheats. With hide-only-enclosed: true only buried ore was masked; ore exposed into a cave — exactly what X-ray is used to find — went out untouched. Everything is masked by default now, with appearance restored by the new proximity reveal. · Veins next to aquifers leaked. Water is not an opaque block, so a vein merely grazing one was partly unmasked with no cave anywhere near it — which looked like "it only hides half the vein". · Breaking a block revealed too much. Breaking one stone handed over the real state of every hidden ore within the radius, including ore still sealed in rock. Only ore actually open to the air is revealed now. · Relogging reset X-ray detection statistics — reconnecting every twenty minutes made the check useless. Statistics now survive a disconnect. · Containers counted as ore in the detection, so dismantling your own base looked like X-ray. The detection list is now separate from the masking list. · Respawning caused AntiFreeCam false positives — the first packet from the respawn point looked like a jump of hundreds of blocks. · Riptide tridents were not excluded from the position-jump check. · The warning threshold never reached the log or /nguard history, unlike kicks and bans. · Creative and spectator mode polluted detection statistics. · Two spurious console warnings on startup are gone. · Lower main-thread cost — redundant entity queries, recomputation of unchanging data and hot-path allocations removed. Added · Proximity reveal — hands a player the ore they would already be looking at, which is what makes full masking playable rather than merely secure. Ore still sealed in rock is never revealed no matter how close anyone stands, so walking around cannot be used to strip the obfuscation. · ESP aim detection — the plugin knows which entities were withheld from each player. Nobody can aim at something they were never sent, so a crosshair held on a withheld entity across several consecutive checks exposes a client drawing data the server never gave it. Alert only. · X-ray detection reworked — instead of an ore ratio it now weighs buried veins per block mined. The old metric was inverted: a cave miner breaks almost nothing but ore, so their ratio approached the maximum, while a cheater digging tunnels stayed under the threshold. Veins are counted rather than blocks, and ores are weighted by rarity. · Ping compensation and reach-attribute support — high-latency players, and items that legitimately extend reach, are no longer flagged. · World, coordinates and ping in every alert — a report cannot be checked without them, and ping is the most common innocent explanation for a distance flag. · /nguard verbose — shows every detection including the repeats the cooldown suppresses. Needed for tuning: the normal view collapses repeats, so two hits cannot be told from two hundred. · Live engine counters in /nguard status: chunks seen, chunks obfuscated, blocks masked. · Individual AntiFreeCam check toggles — silence one misfiring check instead of loosening every threshold. · New config keys: air-only-exposes, ignored-gamemodes, ore-weights, proximity-reveal. Changed · hide-only-enclosed now defaults to false and max-obfuscate-y to 320. · The X-ray detection threshold is now suspicion-threshold (the old name is still read).

  2. 1.1.0UpdateJul 25, 2026
Added · Minecraft 26.x support (26.1 / 26.2) — one jar runs on both 1.21.x and 26.x · Update checker for SpigotMC: holders of nguard.update are told on join · Per-dimension masks — netherrack in the Nether, end stone in the End · Alert cooldown — a cheater can no longer flood staff chat · Configurable punishment command — LiteBans, EssentialsX, AdvancedBan, CMI. Empty = the server's own ban list · Score weights in config — points per detection type are now tunable · Detection log rotation by size · * wildcard in world lists instead of naming every world · Interaction packet rate limiting · Citizens NPCs are skipped · Config values are range-checked Changed · AntiXRay was rewritten — ores are stripped from the chunk packet itself · AntiESP moved to the Paper API — all NMS reflection is gone · Default max-obfuscate-y: 320 -> 64 (considerably less work per chunk) · Default antiesp.max-distance: 64 -> 48 · notify-permission and log-to-file moved into the general section (old locations still read) Fixed · nGuard broke other PacketEvents plugins — disabling it shut down packet handling server-wide · AntiXRay did not actually stop X-ray — the full chunk was sent and clients saw every ore · Ores could disappear permanently when walking away from a vein or filling the cache · Some ores were never revealed — the check never reached the rest of the list · Mobs vanished after dying or changing worlds · /nguard did not work for staff without the admin permission · /nguard reload did not enable or disable modules when enabled was changed · Glass counted as a wall — mobs hid behind windows · Nether ores were masked as stone in the middle of netherrack · False positives while sneaking — eye height was measured as if standing · Server overload vector through a packet flood from a modified client · Memory leak in detection history · Snap-back ejected riders from vehicles and shoved the player down on false positives · TPS drops in AntiESP and AntiXRay with a busy server
