It's a problem we all face. You get back to pick up your gear and it despawns right in front of you. You would change the item despawn time, but then nothing ever despawns, leading to lag, and unsightly piles of items. NoDespawn allows you to manipulate only items dropped on death, so that you and your players have more time to return to your stuff. Either disable despawn entirely, or set the time to any value you'd like.
Do not use /reload with this plugin installed. It's bad to do with any plugin, but it will completely break this one.
Only tested on 1.16, but may work as far back as 1.8.
