v0.6.2-RELEASElatestNether Recode, Bug FixesMay 24, 2017 - The nether function should be immensely faster, and less resource intensive. - Fixed an issue where warps Y value was just the highest block, not the one that was set.v0.6.1-RELEASEOnJoin Version FixMay 11, 2017 - Fixed an issue when using the on join feature on older versions.v0.6.0-RELEASEBonus Chest Fixes (Hopefully)May 11, 2017 - Fixed odd block breaking - Fixed unnecessary double chestv0.5.9-BETABugFixesMay 9, 2017 Should fix the chest bug. The change is quite large so if you use this feature, I recommend checking out these wikis: https://github.com/jolbol1/RandomCoordinatesV2/wiki/Bonus… https://github.com/jolbol1/RandomCoordinatesV2/wiki/Bonus…v0.5.7-RELEASEResidence Support, Bug Fixes.Apr 23, 2017 Changelog - Added Support for Residence - Fixed Bonus Chest Odd Coordinates - Moved GriefPrevention support to new lag free systemRandomCoords v0.5.5-BETAOptimisation Awesomeness and Bug FixesApr 21, 2017 Changelog: - Recode / Optimisation of the plugin safety checks - Fixed being teleported into block in the nether - Fixed "You Moved" message being displayed incorrectly - Other Code Optimisations .SpoilerTarget">Spoiler: Plugin Check Optimisation Results For a long time now I have needed to change the way my plugin checks for claims such as factions. The old system was poorly optimised for a long checking radius. Below is a comparison of the speed and checks with just a 16 radius. The above image shows what happens when my plugin finds a claim within the radius. The number is the time in nanoseconds. As you can see the difference is a 70% increase in speed when it finds a claim, when it doesn't it is a different (good) story: As you can see from above, When no claim is found there is an almost 100% increase in the speed it takes to check the area. Furthermore, To show you the main place these optimisations have come from I have some data on that amount of times the checking process is fired, with a 16 radius: As you can see under the new method, The code only needed to run 7 times with a 16 radius. The old method ran it 21273 times on average. This is an immense change and should clean up lots of areas of lag, and it has not in any way changed the features. They all work as they did before. Here's the difference in timings. Just a note first though, These tests were done in a 50 * 50 area, where 25% of this area was a faction claim. This probably means results on larger areas will be even better! Old System New System Any issues, Please report them either here in the discussion area or over at https://github.com/jolbol1/randomcoordinatesv2/issuesRandomCoords v0.5.4More Bug Fixes:Apr 18, 2017 New Features: - New SkyBlockSave setting, DefaultY sets the Y value to teleport players to in void worlds when using the SkyBlock Feature. - The blacklist can now contain Biomes. Please note, I'm, looking into the reports of lag. It is a hard issue to cover as I'm not able to fix chunk loading lag. Portals on the other hand I'm looking into.v0.5.2Radius CommandMar 30, 2017 Radius Command This command teleports all player (or even entities) to a single random location. This is mainly meant for admin use, and can be used in command blocks! Usage: · /RC radius {radiusInBlocks} {world} {max} {min} {-e} - Where {} = optional. -e = This will also teleport entities within this radius to the location. What is the radius? Please note that the radius is in blocks but is converted to chunks. For example, If your radius is less than 16 (Chunk Width). All players (or entities) within the chunk that the command is operated from will be teleported to one location. Furthermore, If the radius is 32, It will get all chunks around the one you are in, 2 chunk radius. Permission This command has 1 permission, Random.Admin.Radius P.S: Thanks for putting up with lots of updates, and also for requesting features causing those updatesv0.5.1Efficiency UpdateMar 29, 2017 For a few days now I have been working on completely re-writing the coordinates function of the plugin. This should make things run smoother. Changes: - Re-write / Cleanup of the coordinate function. - Re-write of portals to make it quicker P.S: The old coordinate function still exists in the plugin. For now, I have added an option called "Experimental" which is default true. If you have any issues with the new code change it to false to use the old method, But please report the issue to me so it can be fixed.v0.5.0Mar 29, 2017 v0.4.0Region UpdateMar 23, 2017 The Region Update, Whats New? Please let me know!RandomCoords v0.2.2(Official) SkyBlock updateMar 17, 2017 Accidentally left this feature in for the last update, Now I've cleaned up some bugs and made it official. .SpoilerTarget">Spoiler: Bugfixes - Fixed a bug causing OnJoinCommands to not to work - Fixed a bug where a debug message spammed console Minor Changes: - OnJoinCommand can no be a list of commands, Not just one! What Does This Do? Put simply; It will spawn a block (configurable) below the player, ensuring that they won't fall into the void. This is useful for those who use custom world generators, as my plugin will think that there is a block there, but upon teleporting the custom, the generator will take over and remove said block. Along with this, The worlds this works in can be customised. Furthermore, there is an auto-remove feature meaning that when the player is off the block, it will disappear (2.5 blocks away to be more precise). Example Configuration Within the RandomCoords folder, You will find a file called SkyBlockSave.yml this is where the configuration for this feature is done. - SkyBlock: BEDROCK - This is the block that you would like to appear underneath the player - AutoRemove: true** - Whether or not you would like the block to disappear once the player is of it (Like in above example) - SkyBlockWorlds: - The words that you want this feature to be used in.RandomCoords v0.2.1Fixes WorldGuard Bug (Plugin Not Loading)Mar 17, 2017 Recently changed the way that the world guard check worked, This caused a major issue where it needed world guard even if you didn't want the feature / have WorldGuard. This has now been fixed. Thanks to @Meulen92 for bringing this issue to me.RandomCoords v0.2.0Catching up with Bukkit!Mar 16, 2017 PSA: If you have been getting my plugin of Bukkit, You don't need this update if you downloaded the recent version on Bukkit. Finally got my account back and am posting this update to get the version here on the same level as Bukkit's. .SpoilerTarget">Spoiler: Story Lost my account due to getting a new phone after the screen stopped working. Lost backup codes for the authenticator, therefore, could not log in. Managed to find a hacky way to control my phone via PC and am finally back! So Whats Happened Since The Last Spigot Update? (Lots ) .SpoilerTarget">Spoiler: Circular Update Circular Update - Added a circular radius that can be set per world. - Added Metrics (Can be disabled in the config, send successful teleports, and failed teleports) E.g., Green = Random Spawns, As you can see they are all within the circular range. (Wiki) - Added and update message (Config Option) - More code cleanups. - Added /Wild Alias. .SpoilerTarget">Spoiler: OnJoinWorlds Added OnJoinWorlds List to Config. - This will allow you to let player teleport randomly in that world on their first join of that world. - This is useful for instance if you have a spawn world and want the onJoin option to apply to joining the survival world. NOTE: To use this version and previous ones with 1.7 just turn VanillaBorder to false in the config. .SpoilerTarget">Spoiler: Kingdoms and RedProtect - Added Support for Kingdoms - Added Support for RedProtect - Added /RTP as an alias .SpoilerTarget">Spoiler: Bug Fixes - Fixed a Bug with Bonus Chest. - Lots of under the hood changes to the coordinate mechanism to make the process smoother - Released as beta as may still need some testing, If you'd have found bugs, please tell me. - Fixed the charge bug from the previous version. - Added a debug mode to help others better. - Believe I fixed the cost issue - Fixed an issue with the limiter. - Possibly fixed a crash bug when using WorldGuard - Added a customizable prefix in the languages.Yml file. - Cleaned up some code. - Fixed the /RC reload command not updating the prefix. - Fixed issues regarding the WorldGuard support possibly crashing the server if the radius was too high. - Fixed the WorldGuard support delay. The Wiki is fully up to date with all the features so If you need to know how to use them go HERE Going to start working on some rebranding and making sure every feature is fully listed on the main page (as there is lots of them) because I truly believe this is the best RTP plugin you'll ever get.RandomCoords v0.0.4BugfixesAug 3, 2016 - Fixes a bug that causes crash on start on some servers. (No features have been changed)RandomCoords v0.0.3-ALPHABugfixes and Fanciful Removal.Jul 16, 2016 Major efficiency changes. Did some testing and the plugin should use less resources than before. There has always been a safe teleport option however it was very beta and wasn't right for everything. This has now been updated but is still in beta but the idea is x amount of seconds after teleporting if you suffocate you'll be teleported to the surface. X seconds is configurable in the config via the option SuffocationInvul, Provided SafeTeleport is true. Heres a demo video:4.0.0Possible FixJan 11, 2015 This may fix the EntityDamageEvent big, However I can't seem to recreate the problem so it is hard to know. Please test.v4.0.0Truly Random.Jan 5, 2015 In previous versions, To generate the coordinates, I have used a Random java method, However this can be predicted as it is not "truly" random. Now in this version, I added a configurable AdvancedGenerator. This gets the random numbers from http://random.org which offers truly random number generation, Yet still uses the Max / Min coordinate. What's this fuss about true randomness? Perhaps you have wondered how predictable machines like computers can generate randomness. In reality, most random numbers used in computer programs are pseudo-random, which means they are generated in a predictable fashion using a mathematical formula. This is fine for many purposes, but it may not be random in the way you expect if you're used to dice rolls and lottery drawings. RANDOM.ORG offers true random numbers to anyone on the Internet. The randomness comes from atmospheric noise, which for many purposes is better than the pseudo-random number algorithms typically used in computer programs. People use RANDOM.ORG for holding drawings, lotteries and sweepstakes, to drive online games, for scientific applications and for art and music. The service has existed since 1998 and was built by Dr Mads Haahr of the School of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College, Dublin in Ireland. Today, RANDOM.ORG is operated by Randomness and Integrity Services Ltd. This way, RandomCoordinates, Makes player coordinates more random. What else? - Recoded most of plugin to make more light weight.3.4.0_BETAWhoopsDec 30, 2014 Accidentally left in a developer note.
