A lightweight, config-driven scoreboard & leaderboard engine for Paper

RLScoreboard is a scoreboard and leaderboard framework built to be configured, not coded around. Multiple boards, conditional switching, animated lines, live leaderboards (sidebar, hologram, tab, NPC, or GUI), and a growing set of optional integrations — all from YAML, with sensible defaults out of the box.

• Multiple scoreboards with priority-based selection (world, permission, gamemode, platform, custom conditions)

• Legacy & color codes, &#RRGGBB hex, and MiniMessage (gradients, rainbow) side by side
• 8 built-in animation presets (fade, color cycle, gradient, typing, scrolling, pulse, wave) — or hand-write your own frames
• Config validation on startup — catches typos and invalid values instead of failing silently
• Automatic config backup + migration between versions
• Lightweight by design: shared update scheduler, dirty-checking so unchanged frames never re-render, no per-player tasks

RLScoreboard runs perfectly with zero soft-dependencies installed. Detected automatically, version-checked, and enabled or safely skipped — never a crash from a missing or outdated plugin.

Languages
English, Vietnamese, and Japanese included. Community translations drop straight into the locales folder — no plugin update required.

Requirements

• Paper (or a Paper fork)

All integrations above are optional — install only what you need.

Developer API
Other plugins can register their own placeholders, conditions, data sources, and leaderboard renderers through RLScoreboardAPI without depending on PlaceholderAPI.
