It supports Paper/Spigot, BungeeCord, and Velocity, with configurable detection rules, API fallback, IP caching, whitelists, customizable punishments, detailed logging, and Discord webhook notifications.

Installation

  1. Download the appropriate ROF_AntiVPN release for your platform.

  2. Install it on your Paper/Spigot server or supported proxy.

  3. Start the server once to generate the configuration files.

  4. Open plugins/ROF_AntiVPN/config.yml if that is the configuration path used by your build.

  5. Configure your API provider, detection settings, whitelists, messages, and punishment options.

  6. Restart the server or proxy to apply the configuration.

Tip: For proxy networks, configure the plugin on the appropriate proxy when you want it to check players' actual connecting IP addresses. Make sure your network's IP forwarding and proxy configuration are set up correctly.

⚙️ API Configuration
ROF_AntiVPN supports multiple IP-checking providers:

  • ProxyCheck.io — Primary provider; an API key can be configured to access the service's applicable limits and features.

  • IPQuery — Fallback provider that can be used without an API key.

You can configure the fallback behavior when providers fail. For example, api-fail-action can be set to allow or deny, depending on how strict you want your server to be.

Provider availability, quotas, and detection accuracy depend on the external services you use.
