The command syntax is UNIX-like, which should make it easy to use for admins.

There are two different commands:
/shutdown
/reboot

The /shutdown command shuts down your server, the /reboot command utilizes the /restart command of Spigot. You have to properly set up the file start.sh prior to using this command or it will just stop the server. You can find one way to do it in the Spigot Wiki: https://www.spigotmc.org/wiki/spigot-installation/#screen

Both commands have the following arguments:

-a, -abort

Aborts the last scheduled shutdown/reboot. Works across both commands.

-time, -t [TIME]

Sets the time of the scheduled command. This can be either a final time in format HH:SS or a time in minutes. Defaults to 1 minute!
Examples:

Will schedule a shutdown in 17 minutes: /shutdown -time 17
Will schedule a reboot at 3 a.m.: /reboot -t 03:00
Will schedule a shutdown in 1 minute: /shutdown

-comment, -c "comment"

Sets a comment which is displayed in the kick message. quotation marks are mandatory.

--whitelist, -w

If this flag is set, the whitelist will be toggled.

--silent, -w

If this flag is set, the countdown will be silent, thus only be visible at the console.

Planned features:

  1. BungeeCord support
  2. Languages support
  3. Tabcompletion
