THERE IS AN UNUSUAL BEHAVIOR IN MINECRAFT WHICH RESULTS IN SPAWNERS PLACED IN SURVIVAL MODE BEING CONVERTED TO PIG SPAWNERS. THERE ARE MANY PLUGINS WHICH FIX THIS PROBLEM, BUT WE RECOMMEND ESSENTIALSX .

The most simple and lightweight solution for obtaining spawners in Survival Minecraft. Just enchant your favorite pickaxe with silk touch and break a spawner. You won't get any XP, but you will get the spawner to place down wherever you'd like.

Permissions
Currently, there is only one permission, silkyspawners.can_silk_mine

Config options
The plugin will work just fine with 0 config, but there are a few options provided to fine-tune your experience.

• spawner-name
  The name of the spawner, supports colors and the name of the mob using %mob% .
  Default : &e%mob% Spawner
• drops-in-creative
  Should the spawner drop when broken in creative mode.
  Default : false
• instant-pickup
  Should the spawner instantly appear in the players inventory, rather than drop on the ground .
  Default : false
• failure-message
  Should the player receive an in-game message when they do not have permission to silk mine a spawner.
  Default : false
