SimpleAIChatPlugin

A lightweight Minecraft plugin that allows players to interact with an AI directly through in-game chat. Powered by the Cerebras AI API with support for free tier models.

Commands

# Player Commands

- /ai <prompt> - Chat with AI directly
- Example: /ai How do I build a house?

# Admin Commands

- /aiadmin reload - Reload config after file edit
- /aiadmin setkey <key> - Update API key instantly (no restart needed!)
- /aiadmin status - Shows all current configuration
- /aiadmin setmodel <model> - Switch AI model without restart
- /aiadmin models - List available AI models
- /aiadmin personalities - List available AI personalities
- /aiadmin setpersonality <name> - Set default AI personality
- /aiadmin whitelist <enable|disable|list> - Manage player whitelist
- /aiadmin blacklist <add|remove|list> - Manage player blacklist
- /aiadmin help - Show help message

# Permissions

- aiplugin.use - Allows players to use the `/ai` command to chat with AI (default: true)
- aiplugin.admin - Allows access to `/aiadmin` command and administrative features (default: op)

# Installation

1. Download the plugin JAR: SimpleAIChatPlugin-1.2.0.jar
2. Place in your server's plugins folder
3. Restart your server
4. Edit plugins/SimpleAIChatPlugin/config.yml and add your Cerebras AI API key
5. Run /aiadmin reload to apply changes

# Getting a Cerebras AI API Key

1. Sign up at [Cerebras AI]( https://www.cerebras.ai/)
2. Create an API key in your account settings
3. Copy your API key and paste it in the config file
4. Run `/aiadmin reload` to activate
