Information
After looking for a MOTD plugin for a server, I struggled to find a simple but efficient plugin for it.
All the plugins I stumbled across either didn't work or was not simple at all - when I only wanted to change my MOTD in a simple way.
This plugin is nothing but simple with easy to understand configuration as well as commands.
Features
- Ultra Lightweight
- Easy to use
- Useful for server owners
- Option to have a Static or Randomized MOTD for your server
- Easy to understand configuration
Commands
/reloadmotd - Reloads the Config file for the MOTDs
/addmotd <motd> - Adds a MOTD to a list that will be used if the random setting is enabled
/listmotds - Sends you a list of the MOTDs active
Config
static : Uses this as the MOTD if the random is set to false
random : If set to true, it selects a random MOTD from the List and Displays it
list : If random is set to true, it selects a random MOTD from this list
How to use
The plugin is really simple to use! Place the plugin into your plugins folder and restart the server if you have not already. Once the plugin is loaded onto the server then you can configure it by opening the config file or by typing /addmotd <motd> to automatically add one
Got a suggestion?
If you have absolutely any speculations on an idea that could be implemented into this plugin, feel free to contact BrendanLeeT and he will think about implementing it.
