Ultimate Block Command

This update should completely fix the dupe bug where a named item would not be used up but would give blocks when an unnamed stack of items was also present. NOTICE!!! Shortly the old, deprecated code containing durability values for non-damageable items will be removed from Bukkit/Spigot and I will be releasing updates that are only compatible with brand-new versions. For the time being, this plugin is tested to be compatible with every version from 1.7-1.16.x.

Immediately after posting the previous version, 2.9, I found a little bug within config messages which I fixed in about 2 minutes. So here's 2.9.1; basically 2.9 without that bug. Enjoy!

Hey guys! I have had a couple reports of bugs which I could not duplicate on my server and therefore could not address. It seems that everything is working perfectly and is entirely up-to-date. Sorry for taking so long to pump out this update! I've been super busy, moved twice in the last month and am finally about to get settled in for the long haul. Hope you enjoy this newest update!

An inconvenience was spotted by @_Glenn13_ and pointed out to me. If you're blockifying an inventory full of items, then technically you don't have enough room for the blocks. But if the items won't be there anyways after they're compressed, then who cares? You'll have room when you need it! So now UBC checks beforehand to see how much space you'll have when it's done and if you have enough then, it properly compresses. Enjoy!

Fixed a bug regarding the messages returned when a player uses /block for when the items compress as well as when you have no room in your inventory.

Added a simple confirmation message system by request from @_Glenn13_ . Thanks for the suggestion! Delete your old config or copy/paste in the Enabled-Items list into the new config when you restart your server. Make sure to have deleted the old config to allow the new one to generate. To enable or disable the messages, just put true or false into the UseMessages section. There are two keywords, as described in the config.yml file, %items% and %blocks%. %blocks returns the quantity of blocks created by the /block process, and %items% returns the quantity of items used to create the blocks.

Well it's been a while, now. Almost a year! In that time I've been through a pretty hectic handful of life of which I will spare you the details. I've gotten a couple of requests to fix the glitch wherein a player might type "/block" and have another player, standing nearby, take the items. Another problem was that when running the command while flying over the void, a player might drop some items into the void. Of course, this was a problem. Now, when you type /block, if you don't have room for an item to be compressed, it skips that one item and tells you why before continuing on! pats self on back Also, the configuration file is different. All the items are the same, but now you can add any item, any amount, and have any result, in any version. Theoretically. I haven't tested every version XD Anyways, soooo sorry for the late update. Added crafting recipes! Mushroom blocks and netherwart blocks can now be turned into their items by placing them in a crafting screen. Happy crafting! ~Blue Thanks to @nitewing76 for the suggestion!

Today's update is an exciting one! We always wanted to be able to build with real mushroom blocks, you know with the proper skin on them, not some stupid foamy-looking blocks like you get from silk touch. Crafting them has never been easier! Just type /block as always and 4 mushrooms bind together to form one solid block of mushroom. Added: - Sand - Red Sand - Magma Cream - Stone - Red Mushroom - Brown Mushroom - End Stone Fixed: - Bone Meal - Lapis Lazuli Updated: Switch block cleaned up a bit to remove if statements and make this plugin even more lightweight than ever! Suggestion: Move your config file to another location to allow the new one to generate. You can always change your settings back to how they were. Added nether stalk >> nether wart blocks, iron nugget >> iron ingots, and bone meal >> bone blocks! Fixed a nagging bug where the sound produced by using /block was made louder by more items being changed. Cut the active class down to 1/6th it's original size! Updated to 1.11.2, and should work down through any of the older versions. I could not verify that it worked on 1.4.7, because my MC crashes with that version. Read the config for more details. Oh! That reminds me; delete your old config before you add the new version and reload/restart your server. You should be good to go!

Had a glitch wherein a player could hold the item in his offhand and type /block, and the items would not disappear but the blocks would drop into his inventory anyways. So that's fixed now. I would have fixed this sooner, but of course the people abusing the glitch never reported it...

Alot of bug fixes, and some new features! Updated to 1.9 as well. No known issues.
