Please read default config to get Surveys example.
You can read SQL usage here.

Important:

1. When you'll join the server for the first time you'll not get updates book because there are no any updates for you (you have not played on the server for the plugin). You can only get Welcome Book (First Join).
To see effect you need to join, add some new updates and rejoin.

2. The plugin needs restart or reload to use changed configs.

3. The plugin saves the item that was changed to give player a book and gives the item back saving all enchants etc.
