  1. 0.2.0latestThe TypeScript UpdateApr 1, 2021
Around ten days ago, when I released 0.1.0, I thought that was going to be the biggest update for Velt for a good while. I'm happy to say that I've been proven wrong. The 0.2.0 update, or the TypeScript update adds two major features in particular: Experimental TypeScript Support, and /velt reload Here's the full list of what we've added: - Adds in Experimental TypeScript support - Patches Closing Inventory (Contributed by Grabsky) - Adds in a BossBar Utility (Contributed by MrScopes) - Adds in /velt reload (Partially Contributed by MrScopes) - Adds in Some Typings - Patches Default Command Results That's all, and I hope you guys like the update! Thanks!

  2. 0.1.2The Crafting UpdateMar 25, 2021
The Velt Crafting Update, although not as significant, adds a lot of stuff that makes Velt better to use, and a major feature! - Cleans up source code by splitting up commands and events into separate files - Makes the arg-type failure messages customizable - Reimplements events entirely - Allows for listening to event subclasses - Adds in custom crafting recipes (Contributed by MrScopes) - Gives Guis support to reference other guis I hope everyone likes this update!

  3. 0.1.1The Arguments UpdateMar 24, 2021
The 0.1.1 update, although perhaps not as big as the 0.1.0 update is still a really large update. It's probably the largest update of any other then 0.1.0 itself. It features the following: - Bug Fix: server.broadcast back in its place (Contributed by grabsky) - Bug Fix: Script folders run again. - Velt/modules renamed back to Velt/node_modules for typings - subCommand.playerOnly now works. - Add in /velt eval (Contributed by MrScopes ) - Add in Gui.clear (Contributed by grabsky) - Minor code cleanup (Contributed by MrScopes) - Command arguments (commands.create('hello (player)', () => {})) - Addition of scripts.dataPath for an easier way to store data in a good location. - Modularize velt - Addition of .yml storage creation to velt/storage - Functionality to add custom serializers and parsers for velt/storage In simple terms, it adds some patches and some minor features, a massive feature to improve the experience of developing commands (command arguments), and important functionality to make yaml configurations possible with Velt. I hope somebody finds this useful and it helps people out! That's all, thanks!

  4. 0.1.0The Scripting UpdateMar 21, 2021
This is an absolutely major update. It adds in the following: - A patch for scripts not starting up when using the velt module or any dependents of it in 0.0.4 - Makes it possible to import other scripts - Adds in new functionality to the velt module for getting script paths - If the return a value of a command is a string, make it send that string to the sender - Adds in some new functionality to Velt's Storage - Adds in a fix for stack traces with Velt, a long-time issue where you don't see which filename each part of the trace is from - Adds in external jar support - Implements a new sub-commands system to make subcommands easy to make - A new /velt command with /velt info and a placeholder reload - Splits commands, events, and scripts from the server variable in Velt I'm hoping someone finds this update useful, since I probably will. It adds in a lot of useful new features and a long-awaited fix. That's all, thanks for reading through the update, and I hope that you find Velt useful.

  5. 0.0.4-alphaThe Commands UpdateMar 19, 2021
Note: Refuses to load core module because of an untested error, will be fixed in 0.1.0 This update is another fairly important one, adding in some new functionality and also fixing a bug that has plagued Velt for a long time (Velt has been in the works for a pretty decent amount before then the initial release date) - Command suggestions now work, and tab-completions due to, thanks to the help of a Discord user who showed me the answer was to do CraftServer.syncCommands() - A smaller addition but there are now new options for managing itemstacks with Velt (Contributed by Gr4b5ky) - A small but useful new module called velt-convert was added and is documented on https://velt.js.org/docs for converting to and from Java lists, arrays, and maps. I'm hoping this update is useful to some of you, but the command patch should be a really important update to everyone. Thanks!

  6. 0.0.3-alphaThe Typing Update - Typings for the Core Velt ModulesMar 18, 2021
The typing release is one of the larger ones, since although it doesn't add any functionality to Velt itself, it adds in typings (and comments) for the core velt modules, which can save yourself from a lot of errors, and also help make developing with Velt easier with far better auto-complete. Slightly off-topic but we've also used these typings to auto-generate documentation at https://velt.js.org/docs/ If the typings don't work for you with auto-complete, you can grab the .d.ts files directly from node_modules and import them to type your code.

  7. 0.0.2-alphaThe bStats UpdateMar 16, 2021
The 0.0.2-alpha update of Velt, or the bStats update, adds in bStats to Velt. It also adds in the new server.plugins API, for enabling, disabling, and listing all of the installed plugins. Only files with a JS extension (like .js or .ts) will be run by Velt as well.
