Since anyone can join a Minecraft server if they have the IP Address of the server, this plugin limits what people can do, by putting them in spectator mode, until they verify who they are with a randomly-generated alphanumeric code.
For this plugin to work properly, you will need to have a MongoDB instance and be able to run a very lightweight NodeJS server. The NodeJS server can be hosted on the same computer as the Minecraft server.
This is only intended for servers which want to limit what random people are allowed to do on a Minecraft server, but also want to make the server open to the public.
