VoteDay

Sunshine everybody!

With this extremely lightweight plugin, players can vote during the night to change the time to daytime.

General info:

Eligability: A player is eligable to vote and is shown the vote messages and boss bar (if enabled) only IF the player:

• Is in the overworld
• It is night time in the world

Passing conditions: When 50% (can be changed in the config) of eligable players vote for daytime, the vote will pass and time will be changed accordingly.
Duration: The vote lasts for 60 seconds (can be changed in the config)

The transition from night to day can now be animated (although it CAN lag the server). It is turned off by default in the config. See Configuration

voteday.reload - allows using /voteday reload

Commands:

Commands

/voteday - the basic command, you can also use /vd. This begins the voting if the player is in the overworld and it's night-time.
/voteday help - displays this info in the in-game chat
/voteday confirm - does the same as /voteday
/voteday cancel - removes your vote
/voteday reload - reloads the config files, only users with voteday.reload permission can use this
/voteday status - displays the current number of players who voted vs the number of eligable players

Hoverable status

When hovering over the status in the chat, it will display the players who voted already

Boss bar

A boss bar displays the results of the voting.This can be turned off in the config or can be fully customized.

Players who are in the nether or the end are not shown the boss bar.

Upcoming features

This is a small project I did in 2 days, and so far I'm pretty satisfied with it so I decided to share it. If anyone actually uses this and wants me to add more features, please be sure to let me know!
Currently, the things I can think of are:
- permissions for commands
- a vote override command which immediately passes the vote
- config - DONE
- voting for night time and changing the weather?
